Some form of off radar called Ghost Rider.

 

I can definitely see them expanding the ability card list to include some outlandish abilities.

Voodoo Doll as a camp upgrade would be the equivalent of Orbital Cannon, just target a player and stab that doll to your heart’s content (hint: I don’t want it in the game).

I'd like to be able to send someone a voodoo doll of themselves in the mail. It doesn't do anything, it's just creepy.

Trainable dogs that you can take out hunting with you, maybe even falconry.

An assassin's creed style hidden blade and/or a 19th century cavalry sword for the melee enthusiasts among us. Bayonet modifications for rifles.

 

Oh, and voiced female characters. That'd be truly out there.

Dunno about a leak. But if they draw from Hollywood we'll get the War Wagon, with a gatling gun & armor.

In all honesty, right now I just want a donkey and a poncho.

 

If they could come up with a companion system, so we could have hunting dogs, hawks, maybe even wolves, yeah I would like that. Not sure if this is a realistic expectation to have, though.

 

Also, now that someone mentioned, I think they could really enhance the game with a few specialized abilites.

How cool would it be to be able to create a “feral man” build for instance? With some wolf companions, a buff to hand to hand combat, nerf on weapon combat, I dunno. Maybe some buff for wearing less clothes... that kind of thing. There is already an ability card that makes you take less damage when weilding a melee weapon, so they could build further the RPG aspects of the game IMO.

 

That said, whatever they do, I just hope they keep things down to earth.

We've listened to your feedback. A new mount has been added, a donkey wearing a poncho. You can also now have animal companions. Be warned that they will make stealth impossible. You're welcome.

Higher limit on the number of passive ability cards you can equip.  1 additional slot unlocked every 20 levels up to level 100 maybe?  I'd like cards that increase damage with revolvers (but reduced damage with other weapons), reduced gun sway under duress, upgraded pelts (similar to buck trinket), etc

What I really miss in RDR2 is Mexico, with a good old fashioned revolution. With some crazy generalissimo to topple or support thrown in the mix. 

 

And bank heists, robbing trains, be a railroad tycoon, run a brothel, make and smuggle moonshine. Endless potential. 

 

T2 is so focused on micro transactions, that gta has so many missed opportunities. I do not expect rdr2 to fare any better.

Yeah I can't see how they'll stop at 4 cards. Give it time and we'll be able to equip 2+ per category

I really loved how in AC Syndicate, your homebase was a train. I have always wanted to use a train in a FR game so I was hyped af! Really hope that can happen here, possibly after Mexico is released so there are more tracks.

And to stop the "yacht problem" if you ain't using a train, it just goes into storage and you need to go to a train station to get it out. That way the tracks aren't clogged up with people's trains

If it were me, I'd make it so that trains can only be "summoned" by visiting a station, and they cannot be interacted with by players other than the player that summoned the train unless you share a posse. By that I mean that I can ride by on my train, and if you're not in my posse you will not see me or my train at all - nothing visible, no collision physics.. you just pass right through as if nobody was there. Basically every train and player on board exists in its own dimension.

When I exit my train I'm a "ghost" for a few moments just like normal spawn immunity. My train stays right where I parked it, and nobody else will even know it's there.

The only issue I really see with that system is that if two posse members both summon their trains, then there could be collisions. To fix that I'd simply make it so that if you summon your train, you cannot interact with anyone else's, even if you share a posse. Griefing other players by killing them and then jumping on your train to "vanish" might become a slight issue, but you could make it like shops where you simply can't go in while flagged for PvP.

A system like this would make it possible for literally every player on the map to drive around trains, despite there being only a single set of tracks.

A camp we cant control, is run by a completely usless stranger who takes 0.75 from us daily and moves it randomly with no real benefits sounds outlandish to me... what happened to the whole "built on the foundation of red dead redemption 2?" Premise?

He charges 1.00, or 2.00 for a "big" one. The .75 is the stable fee, which I assume goes up as you buy more horses.

Also.. yeah, I've only ever even seen my camp a single time. It's totally worthless as it's never nearby when I need it and costs money to even set up, so if I need to cook or change an outfit it's easier to just find a campfire/store.

I've been wondering if they'll eventually add animals other than Horses we can ride. I mean possibly taming bears, moose or lions. That would be pretty outlandish. Also, maybe they do a cowboys and aliens DLC? Not hoping for that but I can see it as a possibility.

I only played the first RDR multiplayer a little bit, but I think they did have rideable buffalo that could be unlocked.

I'm kinda halfway hoping for a Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta type event. Get abducted by aliens, have to fight your way through the mothership. At the end you get a laser pistol and orbital laser gun. I'd like to go hunting with an orbital laser gun. Wonder if I could get perfect pelts with it?

I don't think there will be much outlandish things added. A majority of the silly stuff in GTA was pretty realistic - weaponised vehicles and whatnot. Of course there were things like the Oppressors, Tron Bike etc included in later updates that were truly silly but for the most part most things that were added are achievable with today's technology.

 

RDO's setting prohibits outlandish/meme things for the most part. We already have dynamite arrows and explosive bullets, so new things will probably be armour wagons with mounted machine guns, body/head armour, horse armour etc. In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if they introduced a lot of shenanigans via ability cards.

At most I see them adding prototype weapons from WW1 period like m1911, but I don't see them adding anything super outlandish.

Id settle for any content at this point, outlandish or not.  The game feels stale and we arent even out of the "Beta" yet.
