Game Spawning You Next to Players

It is a real problem. Every time you complete a mission, the game always tries to put you within spitting distance of other players, which a lot of times leads to you being attacked by said players. With no passive mode, it makes stepping away from the controller not possible if you do not want to be farmed for kills the whole time while you are gone. Its clear they are trying to outright force player conflict. They know players tend to attack one another on sight, especially those that are in a posse, and try to make that happen by always trying to put them close together to make that happen.

Not even after missions. Just spawning in from scratch you can. I loaded in just before beside someone. Lucky for me they stood their AFK so I could get my horse and you know...actually play the game rather than being dragged into pvp the second I spawn in.

Why the heck is there no option to spawn at our camp!

The spawning is pretty bad. R* needs to go back and redo all of the spawn locations throughout Online. You either spawn far as hell away from where you need to be or right in the middle of where you don't want to be.

And after missions, the randoms you just played with will try to kill you for no reason or they try to do the OP automatic lasso-tackle.

R* logic.

Spawns are a complete shambles.

The game does spawn you according to where a mission ended, but the thing is the game prioritizes sessions that already have players in the area of where you will be spawning and always tries to put you into those sessions.

I think players should be "Ghosts" after a mission is completed so we can move away to safety or at least prepare for a fight.

It's the same nonsense as it was in GTAO. They just copy/pasta which is sad really.

Not really, Gta Online picked a session completely at random and put you in it. You could be in the boonies all alone while everyone in the session is in the city. Red Dead Online however takes note of where you will be spawning and specifically selects a session that has multiple players already in the area where you will be spawning.

Just now, I got attacked before I even loaded in! I was looking at the loading screen of the sky, then the controller vibrated followed by combat music. Once I finally loaded in I seen a red posse of 4 was near, so I put the pieces together. That is how ridiculous it is. They put you so f*cking close you get shot before you even load in, that is ridiculous. Do not even have the decency to make me invulnerable until I actually have control of my character.

Yes same happened to me a couple times already. It is retarded, im at 90% loading screen and already received a headshot by xxxllliillillxxx or his little sisters. But god forbid you go after them and force them out the lobby afterwards. Then suddenly im the griefer. Pathetic, rockstar need to make you passive until you move your controller at least

Yeah I agree. Spawned in yesterday and immediately went to the menu to join a friends session and before it could load me out the session someone shot me. If rockstar are planning to keep the game as a wild west version of Fortnite then I'm out.

A dedicated troll/griefer could camp out around a mission ending spawn point, like Fort Mercer, and farm headshots. Hell, they could stand atop the fort and headshot an endless stream of players as they spawned in... o.O

Most of the time when I came from a mission with other players in GTAO I spawned with them at the same exact spot on the map and got killed by one of those immediately. But since death doesn't matter anyways in these games I wasn't even mad about it. I just quit playing altogether.

What I am talking about is not the players you done a mission with, but those already in the session the game is putting you in. It takes note of where you are spawning, and tries to put you in a session with numerous players already being in that area. Its the same when first logging in too. No matter what region you specify, you will always find players very close by when spawning in. That time that I got killed while loading I mentioned earlier? They were a 4 man posse that were already in the session at that time, the game decided to be an ass and plop me down right next to them and I got popped before I even finished loading.

Most of the time in fact when I get put into a session, I was by myself, the people I did the mission with were gone. I got put into sessions with the players I did a mission with only three times, the rest of the time I spawned back into free roam alone.

I think a lot could be resolved just to give the option to spawn within your camp to start off. It would at least give you a chance to test the tone of your current lobby.

Its is really dumb for sure.  No matter where you pick to spawn, it puts you in a map where almost every player on the map is in the region you chose to spawn.  Its simply a way of forcing PVP on people and its annoying and seems to be what alot of games do these days.  Its gotten to the point where i usually spawn into a region i dont want to be in and just use the Cruise Control(cinematic mode) to go where i really want to be which is again, really, really dumb.

If they spawned us into our camp we would probably get stuck in limbo loading in as Cripps moved it 3 times while in the load screen.  :)

My best advice is to always spawn into Ambarino when you can.  It's almost always deserted.

From there you can head to Colter or Wapiti and fast travel to where you want to be.

Sure, it costs a few dollars to fast travel, but it's my preferred method for getting where I want to go without being swamped by other players.

This happened to me last night. A new session put me slap bang in the middle of a pvp battle. There were roughly three or four players. I was attacked before I mounted my horse. Another time, I spawned into the swamp and got insta killed by an alligator. Either way it's annoying.

I got spawned in after a mission and was immediately headshot-ed before I even got control of my character...quality stuff, R*.

Don't sweat it, as far as I can tell you lose nothing by it and they gain nothing by it either (except perhaps a pre-pubescent boner that they don't know what to do with ).

Spawning is a huge problem in this game. In Showdown Series 90% of time you get shot in the back after someone spawns behind you.

Either that or you get spawn too far from all the action and you gotta run alot.

Yeah the spawning is the reason I'm always suspicious when I see a person go like 25 kills 1 death...how's that person avoiding the bs that is the spawning system?
