I've explained on Reddit a few times, and it's always news to everyone reading. You have to do things in a very specific order/time, though, for the trick to work. Here's how: - Wait until the end of chapter 3 (unless you're comfortable playing longer without saving); I usually do this between the missions "A Short Walk in a Pretty Town" and "Blood Feuds..." - Enter and activate all the cheat codes you want to use. - Play through the chapter 4 mission "Angelo Bronte, a Man of Honor." - After that mission, attend the party at camp, then go to sleep. - When you wake up, there will be an autosave slot for "Angelo Bronte..." Load that autosave, which will take you back to the beginning of the party. - Party and go to sleep again! - The next time you wake up, manual saving will be unlocked for the rest of your game. - Don't enter any more cheats after that point, or it will deactivate this option for good (in that playthrough). I've been using this method since I discovered it a few weeks ago, and it's been fun to play around with the cheats! Since I've already completed story mode a few times, I needed something to spice things up again... I'm currently hanging out in chapter 4 with a stable full of unique horses (including a female version of Buell, Rachel, and a silver-tail Buckskin A.S.), and every outfit including LotE.
