Naughty servers?

Given rock stars history they have a funny way of dealing with people who cheat or what have you, so will they put trolls from free roam or cheaters in general in their own little servers with other's who would enjoy their company? I didn't play much gta online but didn't they do that or something?

Bad Sport lobbies are a mostly failed experiment in GTAO. I'm not surprised there's no sign of them in RDO. Long story short, you need to make a concerted effort to get placed in Bad Sport, above and beyond just general kill-every-player-you-see destruction sprees. Most of the players in there are there because they want to be and there's still no shortage of grief in free roam. The whole Bad Sport concept is essentially just one of many that R* tried in GTAO which never quite worked but remain active because it'd be too troublesome to remove or alter them.

Damn, saw the topic title and thought there was a new lobby type with the hookers activated.

GTAO had bad sport lobbies that sh*theels and cheats got sent to. If you think regular free roam lobbies were bad, these were like insane asylums.

How did R* not see the Dunce hat becoming a griefer's badge of honour? 

And I bet there are some people who have made actual money from uploading bad sport lobby videos online too.

Easy way to implement this is Friendly or PvE sessions. Let PvP sessions devolve into the endless deathmatch that GTA public sessions have become, and let those of us who want stop being a source of jollies for griefers have a quiet place to play.

 

I don't want to hear 'dividing the playerbase' arguments, because it's already divided. It's up to R* - they can have half their players in PvP and half in PvE, or they can just lose half their players. 

 

And I wish they'd hurry up - I'm running out of Strangers...

PvP/pve servers would be good but it wouldn't work the way they set their online up ie stranger missions and stuff. Now what they could do is make this whole thing pve right now and the only time your individual pvp flag is down is when you start a stranger mission hideouts or when you accept a shootout or parley or whatever it's called against other players

They should treat Sisika Prison like they treated the prison in San Andreas. If you killed other players,m the game sewnt you there and only let you walk around with the other players there at the time.

That's neat. Never played San Andreas but I like the idea of griefers being sent to jail and having to wait out their sentence. 1 in-game day seems fair.

 

Give them a prison outfit and leg shackles, so in case they escape somehow, they won't be able to run or ride a horse. Someone would have to shoot the shackles off to free them.
