Cocking One More time

If you don't like cocking,  then give semi automatic pistol a try

It just feels wrong. I was raised on a Hollywood diet of cowboys using sixshooters and like a priest I can't shake the idea even if there's a better option. Besides this is mainly just a problem for me in showdowns where I'll mainly be using rifles.

I've been working to get used to double tapping R2. I'm a ways off, but we'll see what happens.

Don’t really get the issue with cocking. You can use RT/R2 or you can release LT/L2 (just a quick release and press it again). Both work and you can use the method you like.

It's not that big of an issue. I've just been noticing that I would have gotten alot more kills in if I didn't get stuck behind the cocking.

I know of the mothods to cock a weapon, but it's something I need to remind myself to do, which is where the problem lies. Cowboy games are far and few between so I'm more used to spraying bullets when I press fire.

worst part is when i shoot vut the character repeats first and shoots later. i dont need a late shot! dont shoot at all! let me pull the trigger for the shot.   its really stupid!  shooting in rdr2 feels bad. unreaponsive. i dont feel in control of my shots.

I wouldn't say it's unresponsive, but for players like myself it feels unnatural. And the problem is only have as bad with repeaters. They just go ka-click-boom.

I need range when I fight, so I'm pretty much stuck with the Bolt Action, which goes click-pull-click-release-click-boom. It's like changing gears on a sixteen wheeler. And much like a sixteen wheeler, it will kill whoever's in front of it, but they'll have had a lot of time to get out of the way first.

The AK-47 was developed in 1945, seen trials between 46-47, and was fully deployed by 48.

Saw, not seen...

You either "saw" something, or you "have seen" it.  The rest of your post is intelligent and well written, so this sticks out like a tumor on the face of it.

The area I live (Shenandoah Valley), "seen" is part of lexicon. The only time I hear them use "saw" (actually pronounced sawl) is in reference to wood. I have no problem with it and besides my man Arthur also uses it frequently. Remember the ledger?

Edit:  just checked, actually Arthur got it right, he said I've seen not I seen.
