I was raised on a Hollywood diet of cowboys using sixshooters and like a priest I can't shake the idea even if there's a better option. Besides this is mainly just a problem for me in showdowns where I'll mainly be using rifles. I've been working to get used to double tapping R2. I'm a ways off, but we'll see what happens. 7 hours ago, Gallows said: Don’t really get the issue with cocking. You can use RT/R2 or you can release LT/L2 (just a quick release and press it again). Both work and you can use the method you like. It's not that big of an issue. I've just been noticing that I would have gotten alot more kills in if I didn't get stuck behind the cocking. I know of the mothods to cock a weapon, but it's something I need to remind myself to do, which is where the problem lies. Cowboy games are far and few between so I'm more used to spraying bullets when I press fire. 6 hours ago, iddqdvie said: worst part is when i shoot vut the character repeats first and shoots later. i dont need a late shot! dont shoot at all! let me pull the trigger for the shot. its really stupid! shooting in rdr2 feels bad. unreaponsive. i dont feel in control of my shots. I wouldn't say it's unresponsive, but for players like myself it feels unnatural. And the problem is only have as bad with repeaters. They just go ka-click-boom. I need range when I fight, so I'm pretty much stuck with the Bolt Action, which goes click-pull-click-release-click-boom. It's like changing gears on a sixteen wheeler. And much like a sixteen wheeler, it will kill whoever's in front of it, but they'll have had a lot of time to get out of the way first. The only time I hear them use "saw" (actually pronounced sawl) is in reference to wood. I have no problem with it and besides my man Arthur also uses it frequently. Remember the ledger? Edit: just checked, actually Arthur got it right, he said I've seen not I seen. Edited December 20, 2018 by 1898
