BretMaverick777
Cool. The story sounds pretty past-tense imho....maybe just a shout-out to Harlow, like in RDR1. Still, would've been nice to see the man himself make a cameo here.
TableTennisChamp
I'm wondering how Arthur would respond to the guy talking about Red Harlow if anything is different from John pretty much just listening. Since Arthur has some dialogue in New Austin from what people discovered by glitching over there as him. BretMaverick777
Jabalous
With Red Harlow being 'a morally good guy' and not an outlaw himself, I'm wondering if R* would make another Red Dead game with a protagonist of that type. Revolver was a very linear game in which you cannot go around killing, butchering and stealing, which won't work for an open-world setting like the Redemption universe. This also reveals the correlation between narrative and gameplay, or player's freedom. One has to be sacrificed in areas for the other to be more satisfactory. I guess we'll stick with playing outlaws in the wild west and I've no complaints about it. Edited December 20, 2018 by Jabalous

There aren't really any New Austin missions for story or stranger missions just activities like fighting gangs, finding collectibles, and random events, hunting legendary animals, and completing challenges. Plus the story only takes John to Pike's Basin which is in New Austin but he doesn't go to the McFarlane's Ranch, Armadillo, Tumbleweed, or Fort Mercer. As he said he had never been to these places and didn't even know where Fort Mercer was in RDR1. It's just available for him to traverse because even Rockstar knows it'd be dumb to keep it locked by getting wanted and sniped when playing as John after it was like that the whole game for Arthur.
