TheJanox824
Hello, how can I play GTA San Andreas at 60 fps without weird car handling, slow swimming, etc? I don't mind installing mods, i have a lot of them. But those physic issues are still in vanilla game. lil weasel
No. The game is programed to play at 30 fps. You may want to repost your problem in the Modding Forums. The advantages of turning off the limiter is only for specific problems that certain computers have with the speeds of the cpu. Example when the game worked on my computer it was necessary to turn off the limiter to do the Parachute test in Learning to Fly. lil weasel
The original game with "recommended" PC specs is 30 fps. Other renditions (STEAM) might have adjusted it for more modern (faster cpu) computers.

I believe it was meant to be rendered at 30 fps as that is the natural rate of american televisions. The unmodified PC game works at 25 fps as there is an extra sleep delay on every frame. To restore the intended frame rate of 30 you need to install SilentPatch. It makes a noticeable difference in smoothness of motion when driving fast and hard to handle cars.
