couple of questions

Howdy, just wanted to put up a thread here where you can ask fellow cowboys/cowgirls for advice, not asking for help/support really just for certain bits and pieces of information.

for example: if I replay the story missions, will I get the same rewards? as in the exact amount of money and/or gold?

or, do I need to be of certain rank to start the remaining story missions? my honor is high, jones won't even give me work, is it to do with the honor or just my low rank (12)?

You will not get the same reward, you will get much less, about 12-25 dollars and a few hundred XP.

The last story mission so far is the attack on Fort Mercer, nothing more has been released, it will likely get added later.

The (my) averages for:
Stranger Missions: Time: 8 minutes Gold: $0.07 Cash: $9.89 XP: 263

Story Misisons: Time: 10 minutes Gold: $0.10 Cash: $14.80 XP: 228

 

This doesn't count the 100-200+ XP you get for kills.

 

As for Jones, Jones doesn't offer any missions, just changes your Bad Honor to Good, and visa versa (for gold).

 

If you are looking to "grind" story missions I found the best way to do so is by the way of "Join Quick Mission/Job".

I really wanna rinse and repeat those missions where you need to eliminate specific targets. what's it called, "targets"? there's lots of gun-clapping involved and I seriously need practise, I'm a lousy shot!

You'll get more practice, and at a quicker rate, than running around the map trying to get the "Paid Killing" missions from Strangers. Plus it earns more.
