Will there be snow in RDRO for the holidays?

It doesn't even snow in the snowy regions of the map online, so probably not

Not even a Christmas tree to be seen anywhere (you trip over them in Los Santos).

 

It would be interesting and kind of fun to see snow in areas like Valentine, Strawberry, Emerald Ranch, Van Horn, Tall Trees (and areas north). But any further south than that, no.

 

Kind of pointless anyway considering there's very little content at the moment. I'd rather get more of that.

Use that same google to find that snow rarely does fall in the desert, yes, but it does so in low altitude areas and it sticks to the floor.

And that pisses me off! My first time in Online I ventured to Grizzlies West hoping to encounter a blizzard like in Story Mode and only got rain. Bruh.

 Id be cool with it if it starts snowing everywhere for the holidays.  Itll only last a day or two at the most and itll give us something different to look at.  With all the unrealistic things already in the game im not sure how its an argument on whether or not they should do it for realism.

The full RDO rollout would be a great gift, but it appears it ain't happening till after the New Year.

Not going to happen now 100%. Maybe next year when it's out of the "beta" phase.

Realistic or not, it would be cool nonetheless. Chapter 1 in Colter simulated a snow storm in May, so RDO get it for a fictional weekend too.

I never much cared for the snow in Los Santos. Made driving a hassle. Or at least it mindf*cked me into thinking that.

 

But if it has to be implemented into to RDO, so be it, just please have then wait until cold weather outfits work.

Yes, it's a desert but it actually gets very little snow or rain. The only reason there is snow on the ground is because it is very cold so the snow accumulates and turns into ice.

We have snow 24/7 in some areas, but would be fun to see snow in towns, especially St. Denis. 2-3 days wouldn't hurt.

gtao has desert and it snows every year. R* doesn't care how rare something is irl.

I might be a light snowfall, with no snow on the ground. It makes more sense and its easier to implement.

So you srsly thinking that the fact that it snows in gtao is because its a parody? And not just something they added for Christmas because they had that weather in the game already (from first mission in SP)? 
The only reason why It snows in the desert in gta is because its easier to turn on the snow everywhere then to model transitions between different weather zones (something that they didn't had in gtav), surly not "because gta is a parody"

Also about that realism in RDR - wanna talk about aliens, vampires, witches, demons, ghosts, zombies, time travelers, sentient robots, magicians that teleport using smoke bombs?
But suuure, snow in the desert (something that also happens irl) is to unrealistic for this game /s

also if "GTA is a parody and GTAO is an even bigger parody" then RDRO will end up as bigger parody as well, just like gtao (whether we like it or not)

Maybe next year, apart from the saloon music there doesn't appear to be any Christmas stuff this year.

It snowed all over the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, AZ yesterday. There's a bunch of videos of it on facebook if you search "Tombstone Arizona".
