Need to know best methods for getting AP. Ways to spectate more and longer to use the wheel. Anyone got any tricks?

-Try spectator mode

-Find a friend with 2 ps4

-Host your own jobs and set max time, rounds, laps.

-pray for glitch

No matter what you do , if youre going for 1000AP it will take an eternity.

I heard 1000AP=5million AP points but im not sure.

Someone at R really must have miscalculated this sh*t though. Cant imagine theyd expect us to spend literally years on this.

Exactly, which people won't spend years, hell they won't spend months playing this mode.  They'll get a few weeks out of people at the most.  It just has to be a miscalculation.  This DLC has caused a fair few bugs I think.

i use this thread for a question:

when you die the first time, you get that special free spin blue wheel of fortune.

is there maybe a trick to hit the RIGHT SECOND LEFT to get the maximum of AP?

We had a little test solo grind by the spectators box' wheel of misfortune, and:

-Time: 140 minutes

-Spins: 277

-Total: Lost 746 000 dollarydoos

-Gained: 11 000 AP

-Bonus: 386 000 RP

=78.5 AP each minute at the cost of $5.3k per minute.

Not free, but AP wise almost equals winning a match every minute.

I didn't lose too much money, won almost as much as I spent. So far three PS4 seems to be the way, one player spectates the other two wait, take turns at the spectator box for 15-20 minutes

By my math it would take over a year grinding like I am to hit 1000. That's averaging around 10,000 AP a day, but the time and randomness of it greatly affect it

i've found that spectating through the door at your arena doesn't work too well. you spend about 5 minutes loading into a game. just for the spectator wheel to be full most of the time. i spent about half an hour trying this and got maybe 3 spins out of it. all i've been doing is grinding the wreck it modes because for some reason i always win. and its working out quite well for me so far.

You may try to host wreck it with randoms - 25 laps -  to access the wheel by committing suicide at the very begining of the jobs.

If you get at least 3 randoms joining it does not work that bad

If you want AP to get the cheaper prices on certain items, I wouldn't bother.

You'll be better off grinding money and simply paying the higher price on the items you want.

You can't buy the Pegasus vehicles half off you have to AP up to unlock them

Yeah, I wasn't talking about them. Trying to grind AP for the tractor would be insanity.

Decent but not much. You can get way more killing yourself and playing the wheel.

That is 67.8 dollars per AP point.

To reach level 100 you need 54500 AP, which would cost 3.7 million in wheel spins.

To reach level 200 you need 209000 AP, that would cost 14.17 million in wheel spins.

To reach level 300 you need 463500 AP, that would cost 31.425 million in wheel spins.

To reach level 1000 you need 50450000 AP, that would cost 342 million dollars in wheel spins... a rusty tractor is not worth that much!

Besides, you spent 140 minutes at the wheel, that you could have spend grinding and making about 300k/hour, for about 700k in those 140 minutes. Instead you where down 746k. The difference between being up 700k and being down 746k is 1.446 million.

They should really have kept the 25AP increments above 100, or at least never increased the gap to more than 50. Someone at R* failed basic maths.

Also, how is the "Don't join" option supposed to work in the pause menu? I always get put back into the arena for the next round, or the next mode, and going straight to the spectator box in the workshop just starts a new lobby with you as host.

I just got 900AP from setting fire to myself at the start of Carnage and playing the table. 3x250 and a 150. Not bad!

To be fair you win money pretty often on the wheel but I see your point

50 million to get the tractor at 100AP per game....um 50,000 arena war games, lol.  Thats the best thing I have ever read.  I was trying to calculate it in my head and I knew it was a high number.  At roughly 20 wins or 2000 AP per day, thats 25,000 days.   LOL, even if thats a typo and its actually 5 mil. Its still 2500 days of arena wars.

The numbers from my test run note the money I won and free spins, so those are the totals of said run (on PC).

This might be helpful:

In Area Wars if someone is trolling, attacking his own team, running away without delivering flags - just lag the game (the same way you do to get empty lobbies)

You will end up winning and receiving around 80-180 AP even if you lag out after couple of seconds (depends on the mode I think).

If someone rly wants those Pegasus vehicles this might be the fastest way to get to the right lvl.

Ahh, finally unlocked the Dozer. This is a fun little vehicle to own, and its blackness makes it unique.

Is it black or really dark green?
