AdamNortonUK
Trying to find the Treasure Chests on Android with Xbox Game Pass is incredibly difficult with no rumble support... same as PC with those using a keyboard and mouse. I use an Elite Controller Series 2 on PC so never had the issue. I do now though, only have Samsung S4 Tab, which I bought years ago and rarely ever used it up until now, so the in-game map, icons are small, due to the latency and graphics being quite limited or poor you can hardly see the sparkles... Decided to now order a 12.9 Samsung S7 Tab, hopefully with the screen resolution being that tiny bit bigger, it may be slightly easier but it's still a pain with no rumble support, since I've been the same spots and obviously just missed them due the damn fog getting in the way. Just use the jeanrope map...there are only 4 spots for each map. I did 20 maps in a day once using it. Obviously if you prefer to vibrate your way to the treasure, the map is not necessary. Rev. kcole4001
Figured on clearing a few maps tonight: ...interrupted by 2 camp defends, a stranger rescue, and ambush, a random shine roadblock (where I looted a map - see below ), and a rescue the stranger from wild coyotes...the first rescue, camp defend, and the shine roadblock all around Kamassa River. Reward Citadel Rock - 1.46G Tree (Emerald) Southern Roanoke - 0.4G Tree (Emerald) O'Creagh's Run - 0.9G Treasure Hunter Cumberland Forest West - 0.75G Treasure Hunter Kamassa River - 0.98G Random Roadblock loot Kamassa River!!! - 1.32G That leaves me 16 maps again. No Homing
@kcole4001 Brandywine Drop is not so bad if you know all 4 spots. There's one almost at the very top, hard to miss, one directly behind the waterfall, also hard to miss. The other 2 are on each side, these are the hardest as I always forget where exactly they are. The western one is the most annoying as it's very steep around there. The eastern one is behind some rocks but I always forget if it's on the same path that leads to the one behind the waterfall or on the other path, which I think is above it. I usually approach from Anusberg and check the eastern and waterfall spots and if it's not there head to the other side or go up top. Or you could head up top first and check for it, then use your binoculars to check the western one, it's in a small crevice in the wall, if it's there you should see the chest. I don't think you can see the eastern one and you can't look straight down ofcourse but those 2 are the easiest. kcole4001
I usually can't remember the route to the western cliff spot, so I don't bother with that map anymore. The payout was always low for me and it takes too much time, so not worth the effort.

No Homing
Am I the only one who loves looting maps, but doesn't really like using the maps? I have 28 maps on me and I've been at 25/26+ for a while now, although I might have a few dupes, not sure. I don't play often now, and even when I do I find it hard to motivate myself to use a few maps. If I have 29 maps I'll go use atleast 1 ASAP, wouldn't want to miss out on any maps ofcourse. If this game didn't have treasure maps I'm not sure I'd still be playing, lol. kcole4001, BUT THE BENZ and Lonely-Martin 1 1

I have, but it is a rare encounter to begin with, and map loot drops are rare as well. I get more from random roadblocks, I believe simply because there are more bodies to loot. kcole4001
Wow, two weeks between any posts... Just a couple of the conveniently easy ones today: Tree (Emerald) Bard's Crossing - 1.36G Treasure Hunter Burned Town - 0.94G Random Shine mission loot Bard's Crossing - 0.96G Treasure Hunter Citadel Rock - 1.29G ===================== Pro tip: When approaching the Emerald Tree, if there's no map, cross the road to Larned Sod (the underground homestead nearby) & loot the jewellery, potent snake oil, food, booze, and any collectibles then go back to the tree and check again. Quite often there's a map after looting the homestead. If there's still no map, quite often I find a treasure hunter on the low chalk ridge to the northwest, on the way to the oilfields. These spots have been my most common source of treasure maps. The Emerald tree for anyone not familiar: There's a bigger tree at the intersection just behind to the left and further left is Larned Sod. To the right will be the low ridge and further on the oilfields. Edited August 31, 2021 by kcole4001 details Rev. Gnash and FRIDA_KAHLO

It took me a while before I could remember the location names that don't appear automatically on the map. They appear only after passing close enough during a session. I feel they should remain once initially discovered, no idea why that wasn't have been implemented. It was in single player if I remember correctly. Rev. No Homing
A headsup guys, I was able to claim this week's treasure map from benefits (Citadel Rock) despite owning that map already and I never got the map. I thought I already owned that map, but since I was never able to claim an already owned map from benefits before I didn't check and just claimed it. This game just seems to get worse and worse. kcole4001
