I think vehicle trade prices are random awards as you level up in the arena. I got the futureshock ZR380 before level 25. Had to pay through the nose for upgrades which were not unlocked yet unfortunately.

Wondering about this myself.. I think Im lvl 22 or so... Is this random selection like Bunker research? Id like to save a little money buyin the ZR...

It's completely random and frankly it's not worth to wait until you unlock the discount.

 As others already has mentioned it is random. And add to that something like 300 items that's locked.

Which is why Arena Wars vehicles are a pain in the backside sometimes!

 

I ended up buying my Cerburus and go course what did R* do afterwords? Give me the random discount and add a further discount with last week's event.  Still salty over that!

I got it very early on too, but I wouldn't pine for it if I were you, I know a lot of people like it because for some reason a lot of people like the real life car it's based on, which to me is very odd because it's a midlife crisis car dentists buy, like a pounshop Porsche 911, and no matter what you do to it you wil never get it to handle to any kind of standard that will make it more fun than annoying. One of Rockstar's biggest wasted opportunites in my opinion. Only AW vehicle I don't own, what's the point when it handles like an Impaler with a sports car skin on it so I just drive the Impaler.
