They can easily reimburse the gold but with level requirements etc it'd just be a giant mess. Their statement about them hoping to not have to reset but this is a beta was just Rockstar covering them selves. The beta is gonna last well over a month now, no one resets after that amount of time unless they want to kill their game over night. Beta's at most wipe a few days progress over two or three scheduled tests, not a months+ worth of progress. When I go the barber it says I own the item but it won't let me choose it for my character! I'm rocking the reverend now, but I'd really prefer stubble... They'll do something like make it so you can't draw weapons, so you can't even hunt, or, it will become exploitable in PvP, just like in GTAO, which would be horrible. Anti griefing measures don't sound much like friendly/invite lobbies to me. "Safe spaces" around vendors could be a possibility, but that would be highly exploitable too. Separate lobbies is THE anti griefing measure. If they are added anyone choosing the "normal" lobby type knows what they are in for. Providing feedback to R* and saying what you want is like telling your friend you want subway for lunch... so you end up at a petrol station buying sandwiches there, cuz they think that's what you actually wanted.
