Some herbs have "unknown effects" so you have to try them to reveal what they do. I forget which one but I ate it, vomited blood and sounded like a choking dude.

Those are Oleander herbs, used to make poison arrows and throwing knives. :)

Saving that for some friends who aren't online yet. Lead them to a patch of orleander, tell them how healthy it is then lmao.

^^ ...or better yet, trick some griefers into eating them to boost their Deadeye.

Just wish that death was permanent.

I don't believe you read my post properly. Standard FPS will allow you to toggle run AND sprint.

Thats correct, ive set it up like that.

This way you get the sprinting controls common in most games these days

And when you eat 20 herbs / berries you get 500xp and a buckle. Go into satchel and read the descriptions of the herbs to see if you need to eat it or not. I think feeding your horse counts as well, but some herbs will poison your horse so watch out.

You can often reset Stranger Missions if you don't like the one being offered or the one you've accepted fails to launch. Simply toss a stick of dynamite beside the mission giver and try again! It isn't a guaranteed solution but I've been doing it quite a bit lately and I reckon it works about 75% of the time.

You can change your default gun layout at gunsmith by selecting customize weps and assigning with square/x and triangle/y. Helps with your gun layout during missions or showdowns.

Now only if we can drop certain weapons.. I'm looking at you, Carbine Repeater.

Hoping for that also but I remember that GTA locker cost a fortune.

I'd happily pay $500 for it. Having to cycle through weapons is fairly annoying.

I'd even drop the bow if I could.

Fixed that for you.

Too many bad memories of GTA Online.

But; at least we don't automatically pick up weapons we walk over--in my view, that's a positive change in RDO.
