BO-DACIOUS
Yeah, I did the s/a and pistol combo in story mode and liked it. I just think that if you're covered for medium and short range and you don't have to switch weapons at that point you save time and can move around more while in a gunfight. I think I'm gonna buy a gold sawed off. Unfortunately I haven't gamed in 2 years so my aim isnt good enough to go for headshots yet. What do you guys think? Should I just go for them anyway to make myself more accurate? But: yeah, that's a really good idea. Before I buy any expensive gun I haven't tried I'll do that. I don't know how you hunt without the varmint rifle, I kill like 30 small animals per hunt. Bo P. S. If you're one of those guys who goes around killing random players just to piss them off, please stop. It's ruining the game for me. I know it's not breaking any rules, but have some class. BUT THE BENZ
you talkin to me? :de niro face: I'm a self-defense only guy, though just last night I went out of my way and killed a dude who was afk, and felt immediately "bad"...it's just not for me! Past 24lvl you can get Slow and Steady ability card and it takes ~8 headshots to die to Varmint Rifle when you activate Dead Eye. Not gonna mention 3rd lvl of that card + some defensive passive cards. Savage107, Man-Django and Amy Vinewood

I would recommend Bolt Rifle. Anyway it just shows there is no best weapon and there are abilities that counter some weapons, so we should pick different guns for different jobs. Tbh I don't play with shotgun at all. Played few series with dual sawed-off shotties, but it just don't feel so rewarding as headshotting with schofields. Man-Django
Was pondering which was better to buy between semi-auto n Mauser. I own both now and decided to buy the semi 1st. It shoots slightly quicker but with less ammo. P.S the Volcanic is the most Powerful but slowest also. The Varmint Rifle is the one that's a mind blower for getting easy rapid headshots leading me level 54 rapid through doing the big playlist and winning it using it. It's only really drawback is the fact it's weak as hell when you miss the head. So once I'm shot and the camera goes all John Woo'ze I have a 1/10 chance of hitting head after lock on. Still is heavy OP! Schofield best Revolver cause Power as I found the Dbl Revolver too weak even though it quicker it's by far also less accurate. I own the Pump Shottie atm but thinking between the Repeating Shottie or Semi-auto for my last gun buy before eventually getting a sniper ^^Footage of what the Varmint can do ^^ Edited December 19, 2018 by TheMckeever R3CON, Amy Vinewood and DentureDynamite

Stormingz
Litchfield or Lancaster? I see a lot of comments on the Litchfield being the worse out of the two, just wondering why? Man-Django
BO-DACIOUS
But: dude I'm the exact same way. I killed a guy who I thought was aiming for me and I went up to him to loot him and saw he was just skinning an alligator. I felt bad for 2 days after that lmao. damn conscience gets in the way of murdering the innocent! Thanks for the tips guys, right now I'm gonna focus on levelling up to buy the sawed off and dual wield it with the volcanic pistol for now. Almost every weapon kills with one shot headshot, except for that perk Slow and Steady. Then it’s safe to use rifles. They will most likely kill with one shot
R*Phenomenon
Rank 24 and Weapon stats are still going up the more i use them (and will for a long time i guess).. So how can i tell whats best.. only one who will know is someone who maxed out all stats of all weapons, which is highly unlikely at this point. BUT THE BENZ
sure there are some guns who are known to be more powerful/accurate etc, but in the end you just create your very own loadout going through the ranks, whether it's style over substance, quality over quantity, etc....just play it how you feel. *peng peng*

So we need to use them a lot more often to get them maxed?

R* stated in some tips guide there is such thing as gun bonding in RDO which improves reload speed and accuracy. Not sure about other stats. Anyway greyed out bars are related to ammo type like in sp. I use split point, because it's craftable (award for crafting 1000 pieces - 0.2 gold), uses standard ammo to craft (lootable and cheap) and it's improving accuracy. Fonshway
After some testing out, buying and trying new weapons, I still think the Varmint is the best in PvP. Easy pickings on almost everyone except slow and steady users (they're still rare to find) which, depending on the situation, I'll switch to double sawed off shotguns or the bolt action. The double sawed offs are great, especially with dead eye. The repeating shotgun is terrible, I regret buying it. People don't die even when you dead eye blast them. The double barrel is way better. I prefer the double sawed offs because it's like the double barrel, but stronger. (And looks badass) With the Varmint though, you can easily dominate every showdown series match and win most of them. That's about 200$ an hour, or more if you win every single one. Loads of XP too (from all the headshots) I personally average 30+ kills every match and only like 4-5 deaths, just because the varmint is pretty much OP.
