but it does the clothes too and all the car unlocks are separated by type.

 

and worst of all, IT DOES RP as a f*cking RNG unlock. no discount or anything JUST. f*ckING. RP!

 

i mean, do they want people playing red dead? there is a clear marked difference from grinding a game and GRINDING a game, and this sh*t is the latter.

 

as a gamer who grew up in the Grindies with PS1 and N64, this is too much grind. i mean i wanna PLAY the game, but it feels like the game is playing me.

As much as I'm enjoying the update, the unlocks have gone overboard. And it's not like when we unlock them they're free. We're working for the privilege of then being able to pay for something. Pretty absurd.

Stupid question, are there any vehicles/vehicle mods/clothing that are forever locked behind participation points of Arena Wars? Or is everything available to purchase right away for a higher price? 

 

I don’t have the time to play as much as I want or need to apparently lol.

Some old vehicles like the Taxi, Tractor, and Clown Van unlock based off of AP rank. Everything else is available for purchase, but at an increased price if you don't have the discount from ranking up.

The first few rank ups are pretty fast, but after 25 it takes a bit. The arena war wheel can give you a good amount of extra AP for $5k a spin. I've made half of my ranks that way.

So wait, it's not like you reach level 10 and you unlock vehicle X and level 20 you unlock vehicle Y etc, but it's completely random?  If so that's hella annoying.  I thought they learnt their mistake from the bunker research thing.

Unlocking certain, useless vehicles are at set ranks. Unlocking discounted prices are what is random.

Na, vehicles are just as random. I unlocked 3 and AP rank of 19 currently. Friends have more clothes and less cars, higher AP.

There're vehicles locked behind rank in this DLC, everything else you unlock is the discounted price.

My mistake, I thought you meant trade prices and upgrade items etc. Those are all random mixed with clothes.

Huh?  Don't you unlock a trade price with each level?  I'm level 6 or 7 and I know I've unlocked 6 or 7 trade prices now - either clothes or vehicle mods.

It doesn't always tell you what you unlocked especially if you unlocked it during a match. I'm willing to bet that if you went to all the places that offer items, you would find a bunch with their discounted prices unlocked.

It's not just vehicles that are unlocked.  Clothes and vehicle mods are also unlocked.  These things can't be found on the website.  They can only be found in clothing stores, the mask shop and the vehicle mod shop within your arena.

You can buy it with real life money however the cost to spin is far FAR cheaper than loot boxes.

That's $0.0000125 per GTA$

X 5000 = $0.0625 or 6.25 cents per spin.

 

With the current 15% discount on Megaladon cards and 120% bonus on the money bought

That's $85 for $17,600,000 GTA$

It would take 4 spins before you could legitimately say they're nickle and diming you.

The Arena Clothing and Mods are already available, like the vehicles are but at full price.  You can unlock trade prices on all these items with each level.  I think you're getting a bit confused.
