Those handling flags can really make or break a car. There’s got to be a method to their madness, because why would devs or anyone for that matter, actually approve that suspension? Not being able to double shift/clutch, I’m fine with, but that bounce?

 

Lead Dev: The suspension isn’t quite right with the new Advanced Handling Flags. Suggestions anyone?

I painted it black, with cream-ish interior, used Countersteer chrome tuner wheels with custom tires. Looks quite good.

Very fun car to drive despite the handling flags.

try a soft 50s color, like salmon pink or light blue.

I'm trying to stay as period-authentic as I can for mine - going to do a traditional Ford for one, and something more Amazon-influenced for the other.

 

Not sure whether to do something like white (which is more to my usual tastes, IMO), or pale blue (don't have any pale blue cars, and I like how that looks with matching rims) - might combine the trim of one with the colours of the other:

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the other will be as close as I can get to this, just because I reckon it's a good look for it:

Will be personally going for the same look as the real deal resto mods. Hard to make it look "stock" with it sectioned, pancaked, and lowered like that.

How are you guys changing the interior colors? I've never seen that option before. PC only?

Logged onto GTA to get this thing for free and got charged full price. WTF Rockstar? Why did I just waste almost a million dollars on a car that’s supposed to be free. Selling and never touching again. This car is a waste

If you were in an interior, you will pay for it. It's the Hermes all over again.

 

When you step outside, you'll hear the sleigh bells and get the alert that tells you what the gifts/unlocks are and then you're good to go.

 

I guess R* is never going to come up with a solution.

Nope - it's a thing first added with Benny's cars back with Lowriders, but then also some LSC cars (the various Baller/Cognoscenti/Schafter variants with E&OC had the option, for instance). You can do it with a bunch of things - the Stafford, the Fagaloa, the Rapid GT Classic, etc. - it's just that R* has been pretty inconsistent (quelle surprise! ) about which LSC cars come with the option.

True, but you can get it close - or more accurately, it's nice that you can make it look more like the more understated customs of the day, rather than just being forced to go with a more drastic modern-style custom (hello, Yosemite... ):

Thanks for letting me know. So not happy with this. I don’t like restomod cars whatsoever, but since this was free I was willing to give it a chance. Completely and utterly disappointed.

Will post images of mine at some point in the future (though it's basically the same as the "Vapid Noir" I posted on page 2). I did notice that the grille detailing doesn't deform with the rest of the front end, so it winds up floating in-line with the bumper instead. Another small gripe about (what could've been) a perfect car. Still, it looks fantastic flying down the highway or cruising around Los Santos, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than the poor Hermes.

Frankly, this thing doesn't do anything "right":

 

-It can't be a stock, classic looking car because the tacked on restomod bits sticks out like a sore thumb, also the car is too lowered;

 

-It's not exactly a good racecar because the handling flags ruins its performance on any race(it's way to bouncy to drive it consistently around a track);

 

-It's so-so as a custom restomod, but it's lacking options for it, and again, it's not exactly a good car to drive.

 

However, I still picked it up since it was free anyway, and went for a stock approach(because as a restomod it's lacking more options) as its looks the best like that.

Well it does do something right, it accurately portrays it's real world counterpart very well. It has all the mods required to make it damn near exactly like it, with the exception of no rear roof vent.
