Also bummed about the lack of non racing liveries, would have loved a few simple stripe liveries.

If those are custom, mind sharing your color codes? They look great.

These are standard colors (Torino red and the normal yellow).

Okay, first imressions on new Itali GTO:

I'm ngl, this car just feels like a faster and somewhat grippier bestia gts. It has, the same sound, same steering feel. Not a bad thing so its easy to get used to. It looks amazing tho. Completely new of course. And damn, this thing hauls ass, it's superfast.

The launch is decent, like the Bestia it takes about 1 or 2 seconds to get up and then it hauls ass but this thing does it better, but because of flags, it gets bouncy as hell and uncontrollable on the street if you keep mashing it. I mean I can handle it but this thing does get wild, very powerful but bad suspension tuning due to those flags of course.

Finally did some high speed corners and yeah, this thing is farrr better in cornering than the Bestia. Super easy. At high speeds, in the corners, this thing gives me as much confidence as a Tempesta which was one of the easiest cars to drive. But it keeps its good traits, because its clearly bestia based, at low speeds this thing feels so calm with light steering and smooth acceleration, no jolting, never too loud. Sure makes a perfect GT car.

Back to looks, I feel like thats its newest attribute and goodness is it gorgeous. Too many players have stopped to look at it, I thought it was similar to the Bestia in looks but apparently not. It's amazing. It does look big by itself but it's low, wide, and actually shorter than the Bestia in height and length, so weird.

The performance sucks but this thing is just beautiful in all ways. Even the headlights that everyone complain i like, and that engine bay is just a bonus. Man i wish i have 2 mil to spend now. But a little bit of grinding untill the end of the week and she will be mine

Pure black with red rims, was going with red secondary but the roof was glitchy red contours even with primary roof.

The driving experience sucks, that we all know.

What I'm also disappointed is the very, very obvious front wheel offset problem, and the car not having aggressive body customization options in the style of the F12tdf.

Well I just happily bought a second one. Blu Corsa. It's amazing how this car completely transforms with a different spec. This is why all cars need trim colors, its amazing

Not sure about pulling the trigger on a second yet... I like some of the options but it's not great to drive at all... She's sitting next to one of my carbonizzares now, a tenth of the price and ten times better to drive.

And that wheel offset is pushing me away.

The only thing turning me off about the way it drives is how bouncy it is tbh. Otherwise its grippier and faster than the other grottis I personally own.

Yeah the bouncing is pretty bad, esp at higher speeds when you need some stability, I find it also leads to moments of understeer aswell, and the brakes are not great either. I wouldn't mind a different handling characteristic to the carbonizzare, but this is not right.

Still I want another to make a tdf alike.. I wonder does stock suspension help with the bouncing

Getting a bit better as I get used to it..

Yeah exactly. I was driving around a few mins ago again and the bouncing is just bad, the car is fast but the bouncing oh lord. 😂 This car really had the potential to be perfect because on flat roads it handles pretty damn great, though yeah there is understeer (why couldnt it be rwd, not awd) but I still enjoy it I guess.

I'm on the fence whether or not to buy this. I really like the aesthetics of it in general except for its shape. It's kind of shaped like a foot, as if somebody took a massive cleaver and just cut off its trunk and then decorated it with tail lights, etc. These kind of car shapes always look strange to me. I like older square/box-like cars. I grew up with old 80's and 90's Volvos and Fords being our family transportation. But the details on this car are all excellent, very beautiful.

Then, of course, it's the performance issues. The bounciness really makes me second-guess if it's worth its price tag or not. I've been going back and forth between getting this or the Pariah, 'cause I love both Grottis and Ocelots.

Blu Corsa . . .

vBMs9rV.jpg

Oh boy, the Grotti Itali GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato a.k.a. Homologated a.ka. certified for racing in the grand tourer class) is something else. What a GT car, arguably the most exquisite type of car there is.

While its driving impressions leave quite a bit left to be desired (though it is in no way slow or sluggish, it's just bouncy), I cannot fault its design one bit. This thing is just as good as its predecessors (Cheetah Classic and GT500) in both looks and wow factor. I mean goodness. In Blu Corsa (#00214DAA w/ Ultra Blue Pearlescent) over Sabbia (Cream Trim) it just pops.

HgEjHQm.jpg

It is so luxurious looking and yet so aggressive. The spec represents that with its sporty exterior coating and laid back interior accents. So Italian, I can almost smell the leather lol!

OntO4ox.jpg

Badges everywhere, and the matching Blu Corsa stitching reminds you of this car's sporty nature when you're sitting inside it.

Rwaiul4.jpg

The headlights ain't too shabby. Those little intakes towards the side are definitely Portofino inspired and therefore serve a purpose. I'm puzzled as to why the L-shaped daytime running lights don't come on at all however...? Anyway, that new badge is great. I reminds me of Ferrari's optional flag-themed badge that you can usually get on the rear panel.

A1sdCOG.jpg

Just wow, they outdid themselves.

vNCVGGG.jpg

I don't think they cut corners anywhere. It's not a bad performer either, that's just the flags. By itself it is amazing to drive, an improvement over the Bestia in every way while keeping all of its good qualities. I don't think I'll whine for another modern Ferrari again, though I would love to see a 488 with this level of detail.

I think aesthetically, the only thing I'd change is for the ability to change caliper colors. I'd prefer them to be yellow, although red isn't too bad. But anyway, this car is a solid 9.5/10. I just wish it didn't bounce so much.

(finally removed the livery and went plain white)

I also have some difficulty to handle it(though I suck at driving anyway, so that means nothing), I imagined it would be more like the Carbonizzare, but no, its not as smooth, I rushed in the decor several times.

Really don't know why I even got dissapointed? Trying to understand why they feel the handling flags is a good idea but nothing comes to mind..

Great summary. Has anybody else noticed that the bouncing is inconsistent? Like some races/sessions it feels totally fine where others it's basically undrivable at top speed? Maybe it's just me, or maybe some roads cause the flag to trigger than others :/

Definitely has to do with the road surface. If it's flat the GTO is driving like on rails but with the slightest bump it takes off and if you've multiple bumps it'll be all over the place.

I got 3 this morning and am planning to get another soon. Damn thing is awesome; great accel and speed, curbing works super well, above avg handling and looks cool as hell.

I think it is well suited for bright colors, so that's why I'm mostly going with them.

They just had to release it during the most packed event. Unfortunately the GTO have to wait until the 8th ... Grrr.

The Rosso Corsa circulating in the Kustom Request thread is #990000 IIRC.

For reference, my personal Rosso Scuderia mix (used in my GTO above, but that was crazy-filtered) is #871212.

If the headlight design bugs someone, than black is a wonderful color for it.  lol
