^^ takes bait...

That would feel like we've gone backwards. It's amazing that cars from 5 years ago can be better than new ones. It's funny to think that people say it's an old game, and we expect the next game to be so much more sophisticated but with this rate of decline well soon be feeling like the cars have all the sophistication of Fred Flintstone's car. The flagged cars all feel inferior one way or another, like they come from a time when people couldn't quite create games as good as they did in 2013.

Gto is entertaining in its own prehistoric way, the speed yes.. the ride ..NO.

I don't race any more, and I am aware that a lot of this nonsense is to do with supposedly balancing races? But it should never be to the detriment of the feel of cars in free roam. Are way more people racing than are free roaming? Can't be.

Weather you like the flags or you are sane and don't.. they are not something anyone would have ever asked for. At no point did anyone ever sit and think... "I hate the way all cars handle in this game... But I still play it, and I wish they would make them all bounce all over the place and have no relationship with the road they are driving on", or

" I wish these cars would be a bit slower, with no ability to spin their wheels or mid-drive boost".

Flags are complete and utter fkin garbage, Schlagen just proved that, and as someone who works and doesn't get to grind a lot, I will buy fish cards.. but these flags are saving me from doing so.

Although we have had a few gems recently, most of the time I can fund a new car with the sale of the last bag of flagged crap. Coupled with the fact I have no space.. guess R* don't want my money.

Spits bait out.

Seriously.. good fkin work R* on that bandito, there are lots of things I would add to it but, good fkin work.

This car SLAPS. I love the 40000 advanced handling flags, please make all cars have the 40000 advanced flags.

You want all cars to handle like sh*t?

I see your point and agree with it but I'm sorry man, vanilla cars are complete and utter ass. Underpowered, sound bad, modeled bad, I'll take any new flags ruined vehicle over them. I swear I only own like 5 OG cars out of 55.

I get that many don't like the advanced flag cars, I won't lie and say I love them all, because I don't. I only like the ones with the 40000 value (only have bouncy suspension). All the cars with this specific value are actually so much fun to drive, they're challenging and super fast - one could disagree, OK -- Fair, but these vehicles gave me a reason to buy shark cards again. I was going to dismiss all vehicles from this DLC and go on with my life, probably play another game but instead many vehicles from this DLC became some of my new favourite vehicles and that's purely because I LOVE the way the advanced flags makes them perform.

I didn't mean ALL old ones are better than news ones.. just that some are. I'm sorry but a carbonizzare fks a XXR up the ass. ...to drive that is. Customisation though...

To be clear, I'm talking about the driving experience, NOT the modelling, and SOME of the older cars do sound better than some of the new ones,(opinion).

Hows that make sense if they're the 5 I bought? I think you mean "you clearly haven't tried all of them" or something and well... I have. The driving experience of older non-DLC cars is particularly unengaging. They're the cars that made me used to bitch relentlessly about how dull GTA V's driving mechanics were especially in comparison to GTA IV. Some point after 2015 they woke up and started making these cars feel more like cars and less like go karts and well, I've been addicted ever since. That's why when I said the vanilla cars are ass, I mean it in just about every way from modeling to driving dynamics. A few of them, including the 5-7 I think I own, are great. Carbonizzare, Coquette, Dukes, Dubsta, a few others. But the majority of what I don't own are dull I forget even exist. The most recent cars ride like sh*t, sure, but that's not how they handle. People mix this stuff up too much really. The Itali does everything the Carbonizzare does and much more on a good road but on a bad one you have to be careful. But it still handles better.

I can agree with some of that bro.. but I can do things with a carbonizzare an itali gto could only dream of.

And I don't hate the gto.. far from it.

I know what your saying about the difference between ride/handling.

I'm not one of the confused ones.

But I STILL can't say the gto has better handling.. if it didn't bounce, it would still understeer. I would rather it have a tendency to oversteer like the carbonizzare, and as powerful as it is (acceleration is fabulous) it can't be thrown around and powerslid in the same way.. but I DO appreciate that it is a very different driving experience and one I sort of welcome. But it needs to soak up bumps. The Schlagen shows how cars can progress without having such idiotic suspension. The gto comes out for top speed challenge and that's it. The modelling is flawed in that the wheel fitment is sh*t at the front, it may sound newer than carbonizzare but it doesn't sound better (opinion).

If this car was added with normal suspension like the Schlagen then no one would have said.. " this gto  needs to have a new kind of set up, one where it doesn't soak up bumps", so I don't understand why people defend it, or even would want it applied to all cars.

Don't get me wrong.. the old cars do feel old.. most of them.

But some of them piss all over all the new cars.

Lol.

Joined a few random Rockstar Created Stunt Races. Some of them had catchup still turned on, but went on with it anyway > chose the Grotti Itali GTO. Well it was as if catchup wasn't on - the lead that was pulled out from other players using Pariah's was remarkable, mostly from the kerb boosting and general nature of that from the tubes.

You could also be getting more than 220mph in some tubes, but that speed is honestly a bit random, as driving along the same section of tubes on later laps can mean a higher (or lower) speed.

Doing In the city and Maze bank is super fun time! It does wiggle a bit in the tubes, but with the right amount of speed the nose usually points and stays forward. H200 is a bit too much and inconsistent with the jumps, there are also tons of transform races where it destroys the Pariah, like Switch up, Trench IV

I did a 2:20 lap on City Air yesterday with catchup on and even left out risky tricks like the wallride. That would be a pretty good time for other cars, even without catchup and all the shortcuts included. I love that car

What surprises me even more is that no one uses the GTO. Like in this double money week i think i have seen just one or two GTO's and the dude driving has no idea what he was doing, seriously, i saw more revolters than itali GTOs, my bet is that people are coming back to the Pariah to get easy wins. And it works untill me and my white beast come into place and destroy them, seriously, i got like 1 minute or even higher gaps to second place (usually level 200 and above) everytime i used that thing. Is just too op

First of all, Revolter is a very fun choice for some stunt tracks and can easily keep up with Pariahs if you know the lines 😁

But when it comes to laptimes, nothing can touch the GTO and it's not even close. All world records on stunt tracks except Rallye are now done with the GTO and those times are out of reach for any other car. It is also not true that the GTO can't be driven consistently, at least for stunt tracks. A good driver should be able to control the car good enough to easily beat Pariahs after a few practice laps.

One reason why a lot of people still use Pariah might be the fact that Broughy says that it is still the No. 1, which is simply not true in 90% of all cases. Even on his own testing track it is not too hard to stay under a minute with GTO. As much as I appreciate his testing with other cars, his laptimes with GTO and Toros are only random laptimes and not accurate at all. Maybe he simply gave up to get a good lap or he did it on purpose because he doesn't like those cars, idk.

i wouldnt say consistency is possible because is impossible to do three laps without crashing even one time, at least with sports rims.

I also dont think is broughy the reason for people not using it, i think is because is just too hard to control (not for me and you but you got the point). I still have the pariah tho, but cant see why i would stay with it 😐

So I've sold my Pariah. It can't contend whatsoever with the GTO. I wasn't sure at all about this car at first, but I have got the measure of it now. You just need to know when to ease off the throttle.

The howls of derision this thing is getting on Stunt Tracks like "In the City", where it literally hoons passed everybody through the tubes like a stabbed rat...

On smooth tracks it handles a treat.

The latest top speed outing wasn't so successful..

Still trying to get that 180mph.

Got nowhere near this time,

Was catching a little too much air...

XRnpxAI.jpg

And this was on the way back down, I was so high in the air that I thought, sh*t I better screenshot this.. so you can imagine I was probably 10/20% higher before the screenshot, and it's not like I hit a ramp or was going over anything in particular to cause such airborne-ness.😂

Sooooooo close.

Anyone manage to top this?

Yeah but not by much (181 mph). Try going down a steep road with lots of bumps. I believe it can go even faster on Stunt tracks.

Driving this thing around kills me as I love how it looks but what kind of sports car would have bouncy ass suspension like this?!

Bose made suspension for cars, maybe it has them.

Damn I had to google that, thought you were joking at first >_< lol

To anyone else that likes driving this thing around, more power to ya and I understand, I enjoy the sh*t out of driving the Vamos around with it's crazy suspension, but for a sports car like this, it just makes it feel like something is broken.

It's definitely the neatest thing I've seen in ages, I imagine they'll be crazy expensive to buy and maintain.

I wish I was joking when I said that though.. Lol

Unfortunately it was too expensive to mass produce.

Clearly made its way to GTA though. XD

And probably. Too technical as well I'd imagine you'd have to ship your car out to be fixed if suspension went or something. Mediocre Auto Shops wouldn't know how to do it.

Yep.

I see it all the time with broken OEM air suspensions.
