Nothing special, really. Tested it out for a bit, then took it off. It doesn't even do it all the way most of the time. Inconsistent as hell.

What do you mean "took it off"?

My bad, lol.

Eh, it happens.

I've had a lot of fun trying to pop a wheelie on the Hermes. It's hilarious how the car goes to the right once you accelerate it.

The wheelie bar. Or am I wrong, and you can actually perform a wheelie without the wheelie bar?

EDIT: Yeah, I was wrong.

You don't need the wheelie bar. Some cars might be better with it, but you do not need it.

Watch the video's I posted in this thread.

I've tested every Muscle class car I have and they all wheelie so it's only that class that can do it, it's a shame as there are some in Sports Classic like the Tornado Rat Rod and Franken Stange that would be great for doing wheelies.

There are some which don't work quite right, the Duke O' Death gets stuck on the road worse than the regular Dukes and some go up really high like the Rat Truck and Hotknife.

Also the completely stock Slamvan can wheelie quite high but that might be because of it having the same wheelie characteristics as the Stubby Bob Slamvan.

I'm doing a wheelie, too, if you know what I mean.

How do people like this? It is poorly done and the wheelie bar is completely useless.

The car pulls the front wheels but drags the ass end along the road and nearly comes to a stop. They have never seen a wheel stand or understand what a wheelie bar does.  Hint, it keeps the body from hitting the pavement.

Pretty obvious they know nothing about what they have implemented. Perhaps they should hit a couple of drag strips and learn how cars actually launch.

Hint, that dumb sh*t fast and furious movie didn't get it right either.

I wasted about an hour doing this with my muscle collection today. Doing a wheelie in one of the new cars and hitting nitrous can almost get you 90º.

Works with Dominator GTX and most of the Lowriders

I suggest to try the Wheelie Bar - in my case it gives mixed results. Still fun though

So the wheelie bar is pretty useless, it doesn't absorb a wheelie like it's supposed too. However here are some interesting things I found, most cars will wheelie up and hit the bumper causing it to jump and not go anywhere. I'm testing to see which cars get the best launch with a wheelie. But during my testing on the airfield I found that during the wheelie, if you tap the throttle at the right time and keep tapping in, the car will accelerate insanely fast and wheelie down the entire length of the runway. The problem is that sometimes when you wheelie it hits the bumper and throws you off so you can't go straight ahead and crash off to one side. Also the Imperator is fast, I did a half throttle wheelie and beat 2 upgraded 4wd supercars.

bruh, wheelie bars are meant to prevent wheelies. That would explain why then....

I was really excited about this.. But it's very poorly done, looks nothing like a real car launching. I think they got a 16 year old to code this that has never been to the drag strip in his life.

I've tested my collection as well. Add the Faction, Hermes, Hustler & Buccaneer Custom to that list. I've also tried a stock pedestrian Ruiner & it can do weak wheelies (definitely needs the upgrades).

The Hermes does a cute little hop half way through the wheelie.

Unfortunately, the Chino Custom struggles hard with it & can barely lift the tires in either suspension mode. The car feels off ever since the dlc came out, much slower than usual. I don't know why.

I yet to try my Virgo, but I think it can handle it.

Ohh & wheelies work in SP as well!

This means that after like 4 years the help text "Only wheelies performed on motorcycles will count for this challenge" is finally helpful.

Well, it still managed to do it despite having one on.

Hilarious to do this in my Custom Donk earlier on. Makes overtaking NPCs that little more entertaining (even if the wonky collision-box on the Faction usually snags a pavement or something to tip me over).

Now I wish some Off Road vehicles could wheelie too. I remember there was/is a trick to make the Karin Rebel to wheelie if you used a dozer to put a certain stone block in the back.

The other person comment was correct. Wheelie bars are there to limit how much of a wheelie you can do.

With a wheelie bar:

Here's another idea to play around with. Anyone for old fashioned clay pidgeon shooting with dumb projectiles (non-homing rockets or Machine guns) and a Ruiner 2000, Armoured Tampa, etc? Since you can now (temporarily) elevate the weapons, it might be good for sh*ts and giggles.

tried wheeling in my muscle cars to varying success in the video to.

Burnout. As soon as you let go of the burnout, press the handbrake and the gas at the same time for a nanonsecond, and let go of the handbrake, when you see the flame shoot out of the muffler/exhaust. Also, do not move any analog stick. Guaranteed long wheelie IF you are on an extremely flat ground, like the LS airstrip for example.

I'm actually gonna experiment with what it takes for a realistic wheelie.

Like since stock cars typically can do a lil tiny pop up, I figure with just enough mods, I can get one to come up pretty high but not drag the bumper.

Might steal a stock Vigero off the street and do some testing.
