Know I know this isn't exactly a business. but it doesn't mean we can't have a singular place for a discussion about the aspects of this DLC, and it doesn't mean I can't spread sheet the hell out of this. 

So if you have any useful tips, tricks, or information to add to this, let 'er rip.

My main question is, what are the differences in capabilities between the Apocalypse, Future Shock and Nightmare vehicle variants?

Seems to be aesthetics only. The prices are all the same

Oh ok. That's great.

 

Someone over in Next DLC said the capabilities were different. I'm more than happy for it to be cosmetics only though. I can simply go with the aesthetics I like best.

It seems that you need to play the arena matches to unlock the trade prices and also the shoes to be available to buy.

Yeah, shoes. You would need to play the matches to unlock the expensive shoes.

Do they have buy it now and trade prices? Are or they fully locked behind Arena points?

They are not trade prices to be bought. You have to have arena points to unlock those shoes.

Yeah you can either unlock the new clothes with arena points, or buy them for like 50k each. I assume they'll be free once you have enough points? Also speaking of shoes, they totally added the glow-in-the-dark shoes that people were asking for with the nightclub update. Better late than never I guess

I would like to know if the outfits can be bought at a lower price that's on the clothing shops and how.

 

Edit: Judging from some rushed math, buying all of the outfits I want, excluding cyclops and horror variants, it would all cost me just $18 million, which is what I have currently. 

 

Also, do you need a fully modded car to participate in the races? Is having a muscle car a disadvantage over the ZR380 sports car?

The new annis car has plasma turrets but what's the point?

They seem to perform exactly like the mounted turrets on nightshark, deluxo etc

sh*tty damage, practically useless. They only exist to make cool pew pew sounds

You need to own your own Arena to progress. Paywall.

Discount prices are available after progressing through Arena missions. However, I can't see the amount of wins needed or points needed to actually unlock the item you're interested in. Quite weird, if I'm correct.

Love these threads, thank you for doi g another one. Untill i get more info i don't want to spend. Do i NEED to buy the other two mechanics for the shop? Or does it just mean i don't need to go elsewhere to see them? Everything else seems cosmetic other than the bed of course

only the stock version , I took my slamvan custom to my arena workshop and there was no option to upgrade it and to turn it into a death machine ...

question : do you have to hire that weapon expert to apply the weapons to the cars ?

Can't tell for sure, but these weapons are crap. Apart from some proximity mines that can actually blow up bulletproof tires. Honestly, all these vehicles are useless against freemode warriors on Oppressors/ Lazers / Deluxos. Nobody in right mind will chase you in the actual car in GTA in 2018. So...

hmm alright , just wanted to know , since I didn´t hire any new mechanics (either the benny guy or the weapon expert) . 

some weapons are useful in the new game modes though ...

The vehicles can be used in the Arena which is quite helpful in winning certain ones.

I think you can just travel to other places and it's only to negate that.

True. That's because I said freemode, Arena is another story. If you dig the mode, it could be fun especially with friends.

Seems like the game is a bit bugged on PC and when starting to level up AP, it think you've leveled up RP, giving me messages like i'm level 2 in RP(you've unlocked the clothing stores, you can now play golf, you can now take a taxi...etc). This is on PC.

 

speaking of unlocks, at level 2 i've unlocked a mere vehicle mod, so i'm guessing in order to have everything for free, you're going to have to play arena war and level up a lot

Are the unlocks random? 

 

My first unlock was a discount for the apocalypse tank. If it's random then it's the bunker all over again. =(

That's the reason there is no actual correlation between the unlocks and levels! Amazing, just amazing. If the unlocks are Arena level-bounded, it's going to be a loooong ride. Wow. I thought it may be random at first, but dismissed the thought as possible bug and considering I was playing German version and my German is... bad, decided to wait until I can load up my own.
