Good question. And what weapons can it be armed with, besides the mines I assume? Are their any wacky mod options (like the Sasquatch's electrified plow)? Surely someone on this forum has bought one! Let's see some screenshots.

I bought one and while I don't have pics yet, the most wacky mods it has are the choice between some barrels, some boxes or a cage with an skeleton inside it as spoilers.

I'm sold.  My favourite thing about the Lurcher is the body sticking out of the coffin.

OP updated with in-game images, showcasing both the stock vehicle and a customized example.

Of all the vehicles in the Area War update (other than the Clique), this was the only one that screamed, "SHUT UP AND BUY ME ALREADY!" without waiting for getting experience/sponsorship discounts

I've only driven it for five minutes in between hunting Sweater Crates, but even with minimal mods (waiting for the inevitable sale) it's fun and both intimidating & ludicrous at the same time.  Performs better than I was expecting for such size and weight.

I can even drive it around without needing pierced nipples

BTW, in the movie, those trailers didn't simply carry the fuel, they refined crude oil as well.

Non-Arena War Mode Personal Review:

The frontal ramming power through traffic with the Bruiser is almost op, & I love it.

Equip a large ram to it, fully upgraded performance, and you can plow through rush hour traffic easily without losing much if any speed at all.

It's almost ridiculous, can knock away a pack of 4-5 cars easily, & even mid size delivery trucks will get knocked back by a good margin.

I've even gone head on with the largest of freight trucks & yes you take a small hit of health, but you will still knock back that vehicle by a decent degree.

It's protection from small arms fire kinds sucks though, plating does nothing for the windows, so you might as well go for the 2nd highest armor for the additional accent plating.

Also she's prone to swerve & fish tail when it comes to handling on roads, especially when you use the boosts.

You can't have more fun in this game than when you're driving a Bruiser. You can't have more fun in life than when you're driving a Bruiser in the snow. OMFG.

Bruiser + snow + Up-n-Atomizer. With a side of next-generation special crates.  This has been a fun holiday season in GTAO

If would have been cool to be able to put a turret on top like the one in the pic, even if it's only for Freemode.

Have you seen this thing in action?? It knocks cars off-screen without losing speed. I've hit cars hard enough to explode them on contact... o.O A turret on top would be like:

Does the heaviest ram have more of an effect?  I don’t like the appearance, but I’ll live with it (and the cost) if it has more impact

Since this picture was taken it got the crates in the back and red headlights.

Its official name is ChooChoo MFer

Frankly, this is kind of a pain to use in Arena Wars, but love it for free roam against the environment.  I just wish I could fire the Atomizer from inside

So how's this car...Truck...Thing(?) For Arena War game modes in general? Waste of space like the Cerberus and the Brutus, or does this actually has it uses?

I own a Dominator Apocalypse, Deathbike Future Shock and a Sasquatch Nightmare, they all have their specific uses.

Dominator: Races and game modes where bikers can be knocked off with cinetic mines.

Deathbike: Flag war, time bomb, buzzer beater, and other modes where speed matters more than survival.

Sasquatch: Here Comes the Monsters and Deathmatches in general, it's equipped with a cinetic mine launcher to deal with bikers, and it crushes cars easily.

Next on my list would be the Bruiser to act as a roadblock, or a Issi Classic for Here Comes the Monsters.

Does anyone know which level armor allows the driver to use throwables not just pistols. I current have the heaviest armor and can only use small pistols.

I can't really help you there but I would assume any type of armor that covers the side windows prevents the use of throwables.

You would think that but then again the cerberus with no side window plating wont even let you use any drive by weopons yet all nightclub sale vechicles regardless of which armor level you put on allows both as well that vehicles special on board weopons. I'm sure there are tons of other example. Gta logic right there huh?

Yeah, it's inconsistent.

FWIW I have an unarmorered Sasquatch and Imperator though and can throw stuff out of it.

Does not having a ram installed reduce the ramming capability? I prefer the stock look similar to the one used in mad max

Generally, yes. But I don't own a Bruiser so I can't confirm. Also in general though, for the heavier vehicles (Ceberus, Bruiser, Scarab, Brutus), the light ram is good enough.

I downgraded from the heavy ram to no ram then to the light ram.

The heavy ram is the best mainly because it covers more than the width of the vehicle hence even smashing cars not dead centre will not cause the front end to spin out.

With the light ram you need to hit cars dead centre of the ram or you risk spinning out.

No ram sucks compared to any ram.

Could someone test of the different scoops and how they compare to the rams. I've already sent a lot of money testing the above rams.

The scoops are even weirder than the rams. With rams it's usually the heavier, the better. With scoops you get different results with different sizes, and often they are not even consistent with the form of the scoop. For example, sometimes the vertical scoops are better at flipping vehicles than the angled scoops.

So any recommendation I could give in terms of scoops are specific to a given vehicle.

Generally though I've found that for the heavier vehicles the rams are more effective than the scoops. For example the Scarab with heavy ram and 100% boost is an unstoppable force. But for the lighter vehicles like the Slamvan, the rams are almost completely pointless. Most of the lighter vehicles don't have a ram option though.

The creator of this video seems to recommend the Reinforced Scoop for the Bruiser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoUHoR1lydQ

For other vehicles I disagree with their recommendation though.

This guys definitely doesn't get the love it deserves.  It's probably my favorite free roam vehicle just for the insanity that goes on when driving it.  I do wish they'd do a hot fix on this thing though so it won't get destroyed by a bullet to the gas tank...

What I would give to have the ability to remove the rear cage, and put a trailer hitch.

I know that this vehicle is a money pit that has no purpose & also worthless in the Arena, but I want one just because it's hilarious. But if I wanted one with a relatively stock look, what version is better for that? Apocalypse or Future Shock?

Just your luck. The Apocalypse variant with no livery is perfect for you. Be sure to put armor on the car before upgrading to arena contender. Gives it a buff on defense.
