How to add a new NPC (Ped).

I do not understand how to add a new NPC (PED). Also I felt bored with existing PED.
After examining it, it seems to edit PEDS.IDE, but I do not know how to do it. I also noted that an unused ID is required.

Do this:

 

1. Install fastman92's limit adjuster

2. Set up number of killable model IDs and IDE peds section to a bigger number (not forget to remove the '#' from the beginning of the line), better to increase that number by 100.

3. Download any ped skins, rename them to the names which you want and put them into gta3.img

4. In peds.ide, copy any line into a gap (ID 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 42, 65, 74, 86, 119, 149, 208, 265, 266, 267, 268, 269, 270, 271, 272, 273, 289)

5. Set the ID as the 1st parameter, and the model and txd name as the 2nd and 3rd parameters.

6. The other params could be:

6.1 for young men - from BMYRI (id 20)

6.2 for old men - from BMOST (id 15)

6.3 for young women - from BFYRI (id 12)

6.4 for old women - from BFOST (id 10)
