RamArmy Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Taking a break from the main missions for a bit. Just started chapter 3 and kinda rushed thru the first two. So I’m knock ping out some side missions and challenges to include upgrading everything that Pearson offers. Also working on the Challenges. The newest one I haven’t tried yet is to shot 5 birds from a moving train. So far the only time I ridden a train, I robbed it. The question I have, won’t shooting from a train trigger the NPCs into reacting to this as if it’s a robbery? Has anybody tried to knock this challenge out? Any suggestions? phipfwe76 Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 I've struggled with it. You have to wait until you leave town, because climbing on top of the train is considered a crime. I waited until I was between Valentine & Rhodes, and still wound up with a bounty for shooting 2 birds. I basically has to repeat this process 3 times to complete it. Id get the train to Annesburg and get on the roof to start shooting once you’ve cross the border into Ambarino - in the wild north you’ll get a bit less law trouble. They will indeed try to stop you, but you should be able to get the birds before they interfere if you pick your moment. You’ll need to deal with them / flee afterwards, but the benefit is you’re less likely to have additional law enforcement on you so quickly because you’re further from civilisation.
