Stranger Missions Payout

Time shouldn't matter. It should be a set pay, that way you can do it and move on to the next job.

Not that I can play Stranger Missions anyways.... none of them want to actually start apart from the mail ones, and I HATE those. I prefer shooting sh*t, not playing Mailman Simulator 1899

On the right server stranger missions are the best thing you can do in this game,by far. Not always the same like storymissions,no reload checkpoint if you fail. It can get really intense. If everybody just ignores you its pretty boring though. And sadly thats how it already it,people prefer to hunt animals because its easier...but also boring af.

Personally, I think it should be reversed. The quicker it is completed, the better the payout.

Technically, thats how it worked in GTA. In GTA, the profit goes up every minute for the first 4 minutes, then it goes up every other minute until you hit the max. It was more profitable to do two missions in 4 minutes each than it was to do one in 11 minutes. Even with loading screens between missions, it was more profitable to aim for 4 minute completions.

I agree it's a dumb system, but I can see the logic R* used when designing the system.

Were the drop offs far apart? Started mine from Rhodes and took absolutely ages.

- One mail has one drop on Mom Watson cabin (crazy old woman with 4 sons) and another on Hanging Dog Ranch (O'Driscoll camp).

- Another on Taxidermist house and another drop near of this house.

- The other was on the "time traveler house" and the other near of this house.

All last 3 drops locations was on Strawberry.

You were lucky then, mine were like 5 minutes apart from eachother😤

What really sucks is you dont get gold if you interrupt another persons mission...only a few dollars. Hardly worth destroying 2 wagons with dynamite if i only get 6 bucks for it.

Also delivered some guys post,if he would have made it he would have gotten like 10$ and 0,04 gold,i got 5$ and thats it...

This is hilarious, now do you see why this system is dumb ?

R* expect us to waste our time waiting to increase our reward which gives rivals enough time to catch up but it won't reward them with a good payout for doing so.

"You catched up that dude we asked you to go after ? heres your five dollars"

If rivals were aware of this, I bet they will ask me to invite them to the posse if I'm planning to waste my time waiting for a better reward.

Send them feedback, its not too late. I did already. The system is dumb, but the missions are great. But if it stays like this they will soon be the most simple, boring missions of all.

Such a dumb system. They literally want you to afk in order to earn more money. So the stranger you work for prefers that you take more time in doing the objective for them for some reason?

AFK'ing in Showdown Series Large gives more than Races and Stranger Missions. 6 minutes for 0.08 Gold. $5.00 to $10.00 or up to $20.00 if you team win while you AFK.

GTA had a sweet spot for missions, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same with RD:17795763_672397639613982_497025662457235

Stranger missions pay exactly like contact missions on GTA Online

I was delivering a wagon and when I reached the drop-off location, I stood there waiting until the timer was only one minute left, and then I delivered it.

I usually get 0.04 gold nuggets and 7 dollars but this time it was 0.16 gold nuggets and 17 dollars, not sure about xp but someone did it and said 400 xp or more.

It doesn't seem to reward you for your performance but for the time you spent to complete the mission.

I'm not sure if there are other modifiers. If you have friends who are looking forward to try things out, please do the following:

1- Complete a stranger mission when the timer is one minute left

2- Do the same but this time with your friends acting as rivals

Report if the payouts are same or there's an extra modifier that reward you for completing missions while pursued by rivals.

What do you think ? Should they keep it like that or make some changes ?

Update:

Info from @CaliMeatWagon

thanks fun this really helps and this its 1.5 more gold on stranger mission and pvp modes and the story online mode

Red Lynx 23

Yesterday I kept disconnecting, and was unable to even finish one stranger mission. Got gold off a treasure map though.

For missions that start with a timer (15/20 mins usually), XP maxes out at 400XP after you let the timer go under 30 seconds remaining. Money is usually $17-$18 and 16 gold nuggets. This week obv 24 though with the 1.5x bonus.

You can get up to .32 gold on some stranger missions.  Particularly any stranger mission that doesn't start the clock right away and you can stretch to 30 min total.  For instance if you start an on the hunt, I believe the timer is 19-20 min?  But this timer doesn't start until you enter the area, so If you spend 10 minutes getting to the area before the timer starts and you run it down to under 30 seconds, your payout is closer to $22-24ish and .32 bars.  However, I once took my time heading toward a wagon that I had to rob or bushwack.  It was a mission that the timer doesn't start until you get on the wagon.  At around the 15 minute mark of not attacking or getting on the wagon the mission stopped and failed. So definitely don't take 15 minutes to trigger the timer.

in some cases you get 20 minutes before the timer and another 20 minutes on the actual job. so about 35-40 minutes in total

"recovery" and "on the hunt", that's my game! those jobs give you a bigger time-window since you need to get to the area first, only then the timer starts. reposession for example starts with a timer.

just sayin, got 0.48 in gold from my jobs yesterday. unfortunately though only 2 jobs worked and paid, the others.... POSSE ABANDONED!

EDIT: what coupe said. didn't read....and yeah it's some of the REPO jobs that have just 15 minutes, on the invisible clock. the rest is 20 minutes, like the job itself

right now would be THE time to play, with that GOLD bonus (NOT XP)....but missions are so glitchy/bugged ...and the holidays are around the corner so I will not be able to tune is as I usually do....meh
