This is exactly how I play the game, from the get-go. I play like it's real life and this character has a real life to live based on his individual skills, talents & proclivities.Start out with coffee and breakfast. Take care of the horse and get to work. But you don't push the horse too hard, can't travel a long ways without a break somewhere, bite to eat, drink and smoke. Then on my way again. It might take awhile to get from Rhodes to Valentine. I don't skip meals and depending on the character there's sometimes some hard drinkin' and smokin'.

 

Some characters do their routine differently. One does a lot of fishing and hunting. Another gambles a lot and rarely hunts, though he does rob cabins and travelers on the road. Another specializes in herbs and hides. I only play a few characters at a time cuz it's too hard to play more than that. 

 

With upcoming character roles, and more ways to make a living, I'm going to have a blast. Very much looking forward to the summer update. But with more stuff to do I'm already having a blast. Now if only the stranger missions would work.

Clearing out the Willard's Crest gang hideout, when I had lost count of how many times I had done that. This time a random player joined in. I got the xp for clearing out the hideout, and just left all the bodies. Off to the gun store in Annesburg, and to find a stranger who needed to be escorted.

Spawned into session, just checking something on my phone, then in the corner of my eye, I saw the mini map showing an incoming red dot. I assumed it was an angry animal or maybe a griefer. But nope! Twas just a random NPC wanting to kill.
