It's just a little friendly ribbing bud.

Don't take it personal.

I don't think it's the prostitute. I think the video I provided more than proves that, but to each their own I guess.

Yeah, it looks like the character model was found in the files within about a week of the PC version being released according to: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-11-08-red-dead-redemption-2-players-find-missing-princess-in-game-files

Not sure whether that means she is actually in the game somewhere still to be found or whether it was cut content. But it does prove that it wasn't just intended as an easter egg adding some colour to Van Horn.

Just curious...

If those images of that character model are legit then why are every one of those shots taken from online?

🤷‍♂️ Something to do with modding maybe? IDK.

Let me start off by saying I'm not being combative here I'm just pointing out the inconsistencies in your logic.

I get what's being said on the internet, but let's be realistic here...

There are also people on the internet who claimed the Earth is flat and moon landings never happened. So basically anything can be said on the internet. That doesn't make the info real.

That said, the fact that all of these images that I'm seeing of this model are from online raises huge red flags.

I'm almost level 300 in online and have been through the single player side of game eight times now.

I clearly recognize all the differences in the details between the two game modes.

While they may be subtle, they are still there. To someone who pays attention to detail the way I do it's undeniable.

My point here is...

In online, I can make a character that looks like anyone and tell a community full of people who know nothing about the game files that this is legit and they'll probably believe it.

In a nutshell, images of that character don't prove anything, and frankly you can say that content was found but that really doesn't prove anything either.

Just seems to me that none of them bothered to fact-check any of it.

Like I said from the get-go...

I'd rather be last and right then first and wrong any day of the week.

I'm truly starting to believe that you've all been trolled.

Just like when people were claiming that you could get abducted by UFO.

...so sad.

I wonder how many more times this is going to happen to this community?

I know for a fact because I found it and posted it last year. The fact that you cant do your own research is sad.

Awful Waffle

I think sometimes - perhaps more often than not - people are looking for answers to mysteries that don't actually exist.

a lot of Easter Eggs are nothing more than simple references or fun little anecdotes. and that's it. they don't go anywhere. they're not actually supposed to. they begin and end with the reference itself.

yes, the Princess has a character model in the games data but clearly it was never used for anything. similar to the Gavin / Nigel situation. you're not going to get a definitive answer because there is none. people have found a ped model called a 'Lost Friend,' the same name as Nigel's random encounter, but again it appears that Rockstar never bothered to implement it. in both cases, the model itself has no unique ID flags or handling scripts. there's no indication that they're hiding anywhere in the game waiting for someone to trigger. it's just leftover data that wasn't vacuumed out before the game released. even the mysteries which have "real" clues are probably nothing. just a wild goose chase that encourages you to explore the world. like the frozen panoramic map and alien stone markings. the nerds over @ https://www.reddit.com/r/RDR2mysteries have been digging through this stuff for over a year. if they haven't found anything by now? you can probably stop holding your breath...

Unfortunately I would have to agree with a lot of this. When they first fished up the model for the Legendary Channel Catfish, I knew the rest of the mysteries were probably cooked. The model was clearly planned to be in the game at some stage, but unfinished. Just the fact the left that window open to interpretation whether the player could catch it or not, then we find out the model for it was unfinished but left in the game files, suggests to me that they just didn't give a crap about finishing off some of the side-missions or removing the files for them. So they became a 'mystery'.

Yes I absolutely agree with that assessment. That's what everyone's failing to understand.

I think these things are simple little Easter eggs and I'm pretty certain the alien rock art is just like the Chiliad mystery and tells you exactly how to spawn the UFOs why do you think I made that video about it

If anyone took 10 minutes out of their life to watch that video they would see that's all the rock art stuff is about.

There is another little Easter egg part that involves the black rock art drawings but I just haven't gotten around to finishing the video for that one.

I'm not disagreeing with the idea that the princess is cut content, I'm just pointing out that she looks like an online character.

So I ask a logical question regarding this and I get a bunch of s*** for it. Lol

0x055FF9BA = Drop the Princess in the ~o~cell~s~.

0xEC2650DB = Take the Princess to the ~o~Annesburg Sheriff~s~.

This is leftover code in the game that I found. Dispute my legitimacy all you want.

My theory is it's either CUT or its future RDO content.

Both cells are always full at Annesburg and the sheriff only appears in a cutscene in RDO.

Got anymore questions? Please start writing Tl;dr

@UpTheDowngrade

Yeah, I don't watch his videos anymore, because of past tactics and practices he used.

I did watch the video for the sake of this.

He says in the video that she has a birthmark on her left cheek an even points out that it looks like Francis's birthmark...

Only you can clearly see that it's on the wrong side of the face.

It's little things like this that make me think that this is not real.

@pariah87

Thank you for the answer.

I don't know what tl or dr stands for.

I really wasn't trying to be an a$$. I was simply trying to point out the fact that what I was seeing in those images didn't add up.

Especially when considering the fact that, in online anyone can make a character that resembles another in the game and that birthmark is available for your online character.

Once again let me reiterate I'm not saying this part to be mean. I'm simply being real and factual...

Like it or not. I will question things that don't add up. You act as if people asking questions regarding something that doesn't add up is a bad thing.

That said...

If that isn't a good enough reason for why I questioned this then I don't know what else to tell you.

My goal is to cut through the BS.

Dukkah?

Two final questions...

Can I quote this info in my video?

...and may I use the image of the character model?

Look at the results to the mysteries which have been cracked.. nothing. Just little easter eggs or pointing to a little treasure that everyone had found anyway. They really have been very basic and straight-forward. Probably the most complex is the strange statues. Look at the results of mysteries cracked in other Rockstar games, they are the same thing, little easter eggs or goose chases about NOTHING. Some of the eggs in GTA V were really complex to discover, but I would imagine thats because the developers simply forgot or didnt care to put the clues required into the game in order to solve, because the result was really lame anyways.

Also look at the rewards the player is given in RDR2, a ridiculous looking exotic hat and outfit for completing the two most grindy quests in the game (Exotics and Challenges). A tiny cut-scene for achieving 100%. It's all rushed, none of it has been thought out properly and there isn't any satisfying rewards for anything, at any point in the game. By Chapter 2 your player is totally unstoppable and can have almost full stats, all weapons needed, a horse with 10/10 speed, a totally upgraded camp and almost every outfit. They just do not give a f*ck, the whole thing was setup for a quick hoon then milk the sh*t out of it with online.

Nevermind it's not worth it.

But I will leave this part here for anyone who's interested, and felt like my questioning of this was an unreasonable thing.

https://www.mod-rdr.com/news/articles/play-as-an-online-character-in-single-player-r16/

I've always been of the opinion that it sucks to have questions without answers.

...but sucks even more to have answers you're not allowed to question.

You questioned it and the community answered.

You didnt believe them and continued to question so why dont you go buy rdr 2 on pc and answer your own question.
