I'm currently weighing my options as I would like a new horse soon to stand out from the rest. Jason Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 (edited) Not yet, the free Arabian on PS4 basically gives you no reason till the 50 ranks when better options start to unlock. I've been tempted to get a proper war horse but the speed/stamina of even the free Arabian is too good to pass up at the moment. It goes real fast and then splatters all over a rock. Granted, I tend to go off road a lot. If I may just hijack this topic for a bit, so I don't have to clutter the place up with another post: What about selling horses? I tried a stolen horse, but no go there. Just broke a wild horse and that didn't take either. So the game is gonna have none of that? Sumtimes when im at lvl4 but also at lvl3 sumtimes, this is getting very annoying. Anyone else got this bug ? AdmiralJT Posted December 8, 2018 Share Posted December 8, 2018 I can't see myself buying another horse, the Thoroughbred from the ultimate edition has the same specs as the high dollar brindle thoroughbred and that one served me well all through single player. I was worried that a thoroughbred might be easily killed by other players but so far all of his deaths have either been his fault or mine. So that was a weird bug. As far as horses go, I'm grinding for level 36 so I can get the Andalusian War Horse. Good health and stamina with a good temperament. While the UE thoroughbred is nice for speed, it's very stroppy when in combat, hunting or going long distance. So I'd like the Andalusian for combat/missions. I'd also like to get a Dutch Warmblood, but the rare coat as it'd be good for long distance rides and hunting. I don't like the Arabians, even in SP I wanted to turn mine into dog food and glue. It can get rattled, but not as easily as the Arabian. I won't be buying anything else for awhile. Not until I can get a Turkoman, anyway... Big horse but never been caught by pursuing posses (of which there have been dozens and dozens) or anyone in a mission and she can land some pretty high jumps. That's what he says before he shoves you off into the stable to get your horse insured. The cutscene and that which followed heavily suggested we we're going to be handing in horses like they were blue sentinels. In singleplayer we could add different types of equipment to make it faster and better stamina or whatever, haven't seen the same options online but last night I saw someone with more regular horse with almost the same stats as my Arabian horse.
