....Compared to say Witcher 3 which I sank something like 70 hours into and still had a significant chunk of the story left to do before I burned out, or Fallout 4 where I sank 100 hours into and was maybe half way through the story left at best before the burn out.

There are exceptions to this, like RDR2, but they're rare for me. Some games are just needlessly bloated with content these days when they just don't need to be.

Now, I see more value in PS4 games you mentioned.

Also, regarding The Witcher 3, that's exactly what happened to me. Exceptions being RDR2 as well and perhaps a GTA. Although I don't know if I'll love a GTA like as much any more.

I'm looking forward to this game even more now. And it looks great too..

The game looked a bit more different from what we seen before. Looks amazing. I was a bit on the fence and now I'm really sold on it.

It looks good but it's a shame they're delaying it on Steam for one year.

This reminded me of No Man's Sky but with a bit more jazz to it, if that makes sense. It looks interesting. It has mixtures of like NMS, Fallout, Bioshock.

I thought the graphics seemed quite underwhelming though, I won't lie.

Yeah, they somehow managed to make UE4 look like Creation Engine, except, lighting is still way better. I don't know if it's an artistic choice, some technical failing or, and given that this is Obsidian I won't discount it, they've actually started development in CE, and then ported it to UE4, keeping all of the material shaders.

I don't hate the look, though. It's probably going to bother some people, but given that style and quality are very uniform by the looks of it, I don't think most people will even be aware of it while playing.

Release date: October 25. Yeah! Fall 2019 will have some good releases. At one point it looked like it wouldn't be that good. Now it's more like what I'm going to play, not what there is to play. Or something. This game is on the top of my list. Mainly because I want to see if it has that New Vegas magic.

I doubt it seeing as CE is owned by Bethesda.

I still have decently big hopes for this game, Obsidian made one of my favourite games in New Vegas. So I know what they're capable of. In many ways, I think they did Fallout better than Bethesda does Fallout, which is pretty crazy. The level of depth & choices in NV was really quite awesome.

They did, mainly because Obsidian was formed by the Black Isle OGs  who made the first two games and had a better understanding of what makes a Fallout game good. They were even working on their own Fallout 3 before Interplay went bankrupt in 2003.
