IV trio for me

GTA IV trio. Niko, Johnny and Luis are the best collectively IMO where the other trios are let down by mediocre protagonists (CJ, Trevor, Vic).

 

My ultimate trio would be Niko, Johnny and Tommy.

i'd have to say 3D trio for me, I got more attached to them.

GTA IV trio. Niko, Johnny, and Luis rock and Luis is very underrated IMO. My ultimate trio would actually be TWO trios! Niko, Johnny, and Luis would be one. Michael, Tommy, and Claude would be the other!

Of all the options, the GTA IV trio are the only ones I all really liked, and so that very much seals the deal for me. I wasn’t too fond of Franklin and Trevor that much so the GTA V trio is ruled out, and the GTA III trio is fine for me too aside from Claude since he’s got no real character and thus the trio loses the point, and of the stories trio I didn’t play Advance so can’t speak for Mike. Even so Vic wasn’t that interesting, but Toni was fine. It’s more a default decision than a well thought out one for me really.

IV because I like Niko, Johnny and Luis, their backgrounds and storylines. A trio for me would be Tommy, Luis and Niko. It's neat how paths are crossed throughout the games within IV and EFLC.

I like Claude, but I don't like Tommy or CJ much. I like Luis, but I don't like Niko or Johnny much. However, with the V trio I like Trevor and Franklin and I can tolerate M in low doses.

^Woah, first time I'm seeing someone who dislikes Tommy, CJ, Niko and Johnny, basically all the darlings of this forum 

 

Tbh my real favorite is Claude, Tommy and CJ mainly cause of the latter two though Claude is cool too but I'm not changing my vote since someone has got to stick with the underdog(also nice to see another vote for the Stories trio as they are called on this poll)

IV trio wins easily. johnny klebitz alone is easily better than all three V protagonists combined, and that f*cker only has 22 missions compared to their 69 missions.

22 missions for an expansion pack character vs. 69 for three main title protagonists. Would've been interesting to see a standalone TLAD.

69/3=23 missions per character, sort of. Of course it does not overlap correctly but that just goes to show that in fact V's protags had less screen time than one would expect.
