Missing treasure

Hey guys I got the bards crossing treasure map and when I went to the area I couldn't find it so I looked at a video and I went to where it was in the video and it wasn't there. Is this missing from my game or are the treasure locations actually randomized?

I had the same trouble. I'd sometimes find an open box with no treasure. Then I found a guide on another site, which I'll probably not be allowed to link for you here.

 

However, the following pic shows that there are FOUR possible locations for the treasure. I found it quickly after seeing this :

Nugsy... I checked all of those locations. My controller didn't even vibrate like it's supposed to. It's nowhere to be found. Could this just be a bug or missing item that will be there once the beta is over? 

This is like the 4th bug I've encounteres. Jc.

Nothing wrong its not bugged the treasure isnt directly at the point shown you just need to hunt around usually its at the outer edge of the yellowed area

Your sh*t will vibrate as you get closer to it. Don't even need a map.

I looked online. There are 4 possible locations it could be at. I went to each one, right on the exact spot and the controller won't even vibrate. So it has to be a bug or something wrong with the game.

Keep looking there well hidden and not where you would expect

They are spread all around, just wander, feel the controller and use dead eye.  Those are only 4 reported locations.

This....Be sure to use your deadeye...It shows up with the yellow floaty thingys just like the legendary animal clues do in story mode when using deadeye.

Yes they are within the yellow area but not at the point indicated ingame, IE when your in the yellow and go on map view you get a cross supposedly showing you the exacy point, Well that cross is not the point at all, you have to roam the whole area, use dead eye and vibration on controller to find it
