I have so much money to squander on Blackjack and nowhere to spend it. I get why the whole 'No casino because of legal issues' might be a thing, but it'd be nice to have one in game like in GTA:SA. Then again i'm not really the gambling type so I'd probably find limited appeal in a Casino - however, I can definitely see how it could be exploited or abused in ways that damage a player's experience.

 

Probably wouldn't have been an issue if Shark Cards weren't a thing

There are actually gambling opportunities that exist in GTAO.

If you review your stats, you'll find "Betting" stats. Mine are primarily from racing:

• Spent on betting: $54k
• Earned from betting: $103.4k

Now, if I had bought a Red Shark Card ($2.99USD for $100k GTA$), it stands to reason that I just spent real-world money to gamble away on a virtual platform in a racing game.

To me, it says that R* already crossed that threshold of legality and morality and put the gambling option in place, even if it is fairly innocuous.

Still, gambling is gambling, is it not?

That's a very good point. And there I was assuming that legal issues were most likely the cause, because to me that'd seem to be a logical explanation. 

 

Someone inform the Belgium Gaming Commission  and see what they make of all of this!

While I'm sitting at home, I decided to test my luck in the casino, and suddenly I'm lucky. The guys say that in a good casino they give players 30% of the casino's profit to win, I don't know if this is true or not, but I would like to believe. I would like to ask - what is the biggest win in the casino? maybe someone won!
