Reyiz Kovan Posted December 5, 2018 Share Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) So we can here almost everywhere things like "gta 5 is the best game ever,why gta 5 didnt have this gameplay style,..." wtf dude,its been five years an u still talkin about gta 5 like its the best game of all time and talkin even when there's no connection with gta 5,i know its an awesome game but im startin to hate gta 5 when people talk about gta 5 after "everything".So what do you think about this,does gta 5 deserve all of these? The game gets bashed here everyday and below every YouTube comment section no matter what game it's about you may always find the phrase "better than GTA V"(I legit saw one under a Sims Video once) the game sold a lot. I can safely say this game has one of the largest fanbases and a large hater count at the same time. Which is obviously expected for a game that has sold 100 million copies. Also this definitely was the most Hyped game I have ever seen to date and "maybe" only a new GTA can beat it in that regard. This resulted in a huge diversion between the players. You're right but e-f**kin nough,i was just watchin some max payne 3 videos ten minutes ego and first comment i saw is "why gta 5 didnt have effects and design like this",well im sure i answered him good but he was just one of em=who think gta 5 gotta have everything perfect.I also know this topic kinda looks bulls*** but i was just angry and i made it. I find it very hard to believe GTA V still sells because of single player since it's divisive among fans and the fact it's never had any significant gameplay updates to keep things fresh. GTAO has gotten so big it wouldn't surprise me if people buy it never touching single player and just jumping into GTAO because they've heard from their friends how "awesome" it is. It would be a more impressive feat if it was a single player only game, but the fact it ships with an online component that is way more popular than the single player skews the figures IMO. Based on the first few weeks of release it's clear that V easily would outsell IV and SA even if it lacked the online mode. (only on 360 and PS3). That's sadly true, lots of people couldn't give less f*cks about the SP and just jump straight to Online. But I think the crazy amount of success GTA V had in it's first year is definitely because of the overall good SP part (despite flaws, it's still very enjoyable). I think worst GTA is too harsh, stuff like LCS & VCS still exists you know..for me it's still one of the better one's actually (GTA IV is obviously way better but then after that I can only think of VC that beast it clearly).
