How to improve smoothness of GTA IV PS3

whoever is interested I found a way that in my honest opinion makes the gameplay seem more smooth 

its not a mod

just go to the xmb settings

go to Video 

go to 1080p 24hz and turn it ON 

then go to BD/DVD upscaling and select DOUBLE SCALE 

and go then go down to DISPLAY setting and run gta 4 on 1080p by deselecting 720p & 1080i 

worked for me on different TVS and different PS3’s
