Time played: 6 hours (approx). When GTA came, I know I put in probably 10 times that in the early days. 8 co-op missions and being bait for trolls/PvP players just ain't gonna see me load up any more. Such wasted potential right now.

A friend of mine did lots of glitches and dupes. We didn't play for a while and when we did play again he was a low level. He found the game so pointless and boring when everything it for free that he started all over again.

 

I've never bought a shark card  and never intend to buy one - or RDO money card. If I enjoy the game then I want to actually play it and achieve things slowly. Having everything instantly would make it pointless playing any more.

Oh, I agree. Some do just want it easy, as shown by the one's that cut corners or AFK overnight in GTA. R* really didn't help by adding passive incomes. Not that I oppose them, but it does encourage it for some that can't give the tme or pay extra.

Majority? be lucky if one in 20 people think this game has any chance of making it. Lets see a year from now who was right and as I told you guys before this is no beta, this is the very raw beginnings of a game. A beta is for ironing out minor bugs before final release, not developing a game from scratch while people play it. What we have here is called an alpha release. If indeed this is a beta and this is the near final game.. well god help rockstar because they've completely lost all hope of ever making a decent online game again.

I get ya, and if it stays as is for too long, you're right.

 

But GTA had a choppy start and recovered to become a long term cash haven for R*. This game has huge potential though, probably more with all that's known from GTA too. Like you/many, I need more to get this to appeal, but I'm definitely willing to see how/where the feedback and communicating is going.

 

Fully agree in a year, we'll know for sure.

yet it still worries you obviously.. plus you seem to know better than rockstar itself...  but also i think your opinion is biased when u say lost all hope of ever making a decent online game again... there never has been a better (free) online freeroam experience as GTAO. and still millions play it on a daily base. Also your 1 in 20 who enjoy it makes no sence at all.. the biggest poll where a slight "majority" thinks it sucks is on this very forum... not even 900 votes in total.  this game shipped over 15 million copies allready. most of those users dont visit forums and just play as it is.. and guess what they enjoy it like i do.. and i think we also have a little faith.. if it becomes only half to 3 quarters of the succes GTAO had.. this online experience is gonna be epic fun!
