Joel Ricketts Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 (edited) Just started a persistent posse and now i'm looking for members to play with. It's going to be a friendly posse, not a violent one unless we have to protect ourselves. I also created a little background story for my character and posse to make it more interesting. Joel Ricketts (born in 1868) is the leader of The Ricketts Gang. His gang established in 1888 when he was 20 years old. Joel was raised by his mother after his father William Ricketts was killed in 1882. The death of his father causes Joel to reach out to his uncle Landon Ricketts, who he hadn't seen since he was six years old. The two brothers Landon and William split after their father was killed by a gang related to Landon. William blamed Landon for it and they never spoke eachother again after the incident. When Joel and Landon meet again after not seeing eachother for a long time, Landon isn't quite sure if he wants to help him because of his past with Joel's father. But seeing how this is the only thing he can do to make things right, Landon is convinced to help his nephew out. Landon teaches Joel to master his gun skills which eventually helps him to take revenge for the death of his father William. Now he runs a gang together with the people who helped him find the killers of his father, while his uncle Landon continues his life being a gunslinger.
