Fugitive21 Posted December 3, 2018 Share Posted December 3, 2018 So I played this weekend and can see I had a ton of fun. After doing the quest and doing the side missions I didn't care about money. I saved and bought a bolt action rile and was on my way. Met some pretty cool guy's Friday and we had a blast. Didn't care about new clothes, didn't care about buying some fancy horse. Stole a train and went around the map. Got my 10 mile, 20 mile, 30 mile buckles. Yeah I ran into some rude players that kept picking me off. I did not care. Either I ran away or changed sessions if it got out of control. My only issues I hope they change or fix: Coming out of PVP missions everybody should be invisible or not able to shoot other players for 1-2 minutes. Dam shooting fest coming out of those. Fix the horse's to stop running away when you jump off of it from roping some animal or even somebody. No gun fire but jumping off and my horse runs a half a mile away. Camps ugh why o why do they move and to top it off move so far away. Add more butchers to maps. Hunting way up north away from the PVP junkies and have to travel waaaayyyyyyyy far away to sell. Played about 24 hours total this weekend and ended up with 3 gold bars and running total of about $4500. DentureDynamite Posted December 3, 2018 Share Posted December 3, 2018 (edited) ^^ A solid point on adding some more butchers; would make it a bit easier for hunters to hunt and sell in peace without having to risk getting griefed in a town like Valentine. Emerald Ranch could be one spot--but several others spread out around the map would be a great addition. One other thought on stores, etc.; if R* is adamant that we can't rob stores, they should at the very least allow us to sell unopened general items we've looted. But we should still be allowed to rob stores--just keep the amounts to a level where players aren't robbing it every five minutes, and tack on a brief post-robbery cooldown period so that other players can still use the store in the interim. I wouldn't mind if they do away with the camp entirely and put the option to start your own fire in the middle of the wilderness back in. I can get my orders at the post office, I can manage my horses in a stable, I could concievably fix my wardrobe in a clothing store GTA style. Mik73 Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 (edited) I like the idea of having more elaborate Base Camps for myself and the Posse to call 'home'. Similar to the SP game. It would be an important game asset for upgrading. We need much more then just guns and clothes to spend our money and resources on (and a way to show off our l33tness). But how and where they spawn needs to be tightened up. And they definitely need to add the small camp fire / tent for people to do some on-the-spot cooking out in the wilderness. Gallows Posted December 4, 2018 Share Posted December 4, 2018 Have played a lot of series the last two days. Some using freeaim, which is obviously a pain and some using lock on. I’m bored with it. It feels so stale, repetitive and boring with lock on, like a lemming fest. Really hope they introduce freeaim lobbies soon, because the only game mode where shooting is interresting is the races.
