I hope it's true and I sincerely appreciate the news, still doesn't make me feel better about how they're handling the feedback they've been getting though. Part of me is holding on to this fantasy that R* will tell us it was all a joke and make it better once online is no longer in "beta" form, but yeah that is likely not the case here sadly.

No, but this post is stupid. Not a single person has yet made any micro transactions and yet they have bought weapons. I get it you want a more forgiving economy and I respect that opinion.

 

However I don’t respect your moronic simpleton fashion of presenting your opinion - through gimped logic calling people whores of a Company, because you lack any real argument.

 

I like a balanced economy that presents a challenge. I don’t mind the changes they have made, but if money becomes too easy to come by, the Challenge is gone. I like games that present a Challenge, not just a perpetual hamster wheel.

The main motivation to hunt is money atm,and that is a problem. In a world filled with gang hideouts,missions and a lot more later this doesnt make sense. Especially since hunting is a lonewolf activity and this is a game about gangs.

Additionaly hunting is by far the best way to get food and hopefully the trapper will be the main motivation to hunt soon.

 

Nah, I don't care what I'm supposed to be, this is an open world game and I'll be what I wanna be. My character is no outlaw. And one of my favorite pastimes is hunting. Some people wanna be lone wolf in a MP game, and that's fine too. They don't need to control people, let them play how they want. Take away options by nerfing and that hurts the incentive to play. I'd like them to broaden the playstyle possibilities, not limit them. 😉

You can hunt as long as you want,it just shouldnt be the best way to play the game regarding income.

I don't think the two activities are comparable but okay. No reason to limit anything in my view. I hope they give us more things to buy, & more things to do, but I hope they don't make things not worth doing by nerfing too much.

Is that the case with hunting? Dont forget its not only for money but also the best source of food,and if the trapper gets added even clothes.

Agreed. Hunting/Fishing/Trapping was a much more integral part of life in 1898 and people actually knew where their food came from. So comparing a pastime people make money from to an almost necessary part of survival would be inaccurate. 

Plus, for those who know history, the Fur Trade was a massive industry back then and has been hugely responsible for shaping parts of the USA.

Income per hour may or may not be right, but the activities which earn a lot and the activities which earn very little were totally out of whack.

On Tuesday I earnt $4.15 escorting a couple of wagons from Tumbleweed to Fort Mercer which required me to kill about 12 outlaws and thank f*ck no other players bothered to interfere.

After completing it, on the ride back from Mercer to the Tumbleweed butcher, and taking probably the same amount of time, I shot a few birds, a rabbit and a pronghorn and made more than $10.00, plus a whole bunch of meat.  The game shouldn’t be like that.

Today, I earned $10 for a quick job for Bonnie Macfarlane.  It feels more balanced.

I prefer to play as a mercenary cowboy doing jobs for people with a bit of hunting or fishing on the side rather than a professional fisherman who does the occasional escort job.

It's funny that people complained it was too hard to get money and then R* adjusted the economy. Now again people are complaining it's too easy lol

Hopefully they will all be gone in a week so we won't have to play Red Dead Entitlement for too long.

No, we just don't need stuff handed out to us. We are also not the ones complaining that the game is too hard or that we are not making enough money. Rockstar made changes catered to you and you still want more. Whose the real whore here?

And i ask once again, whose forcing you to buy bars? You act like you have to pay Rockstar a monthly fee to play Red Dead. PS4 owners even received free content. I can't take any of you serious when the fact it's a free add on. What next, participation trophies for matchmaking mode?

That seems to be their only defense, somehow we are in love with Rockstar. Yet all we want to do is play the game and have real issues fixed.
