Posse members not in posse when leader is offline.

It probably has something to do with the $200 fee for forming a posse that the leader has to pay.

The whole posse system seems strange to me. If the leader pays for the persistent posse then they shouldn't have to chose to reform it everytime he starts playing. It should be like, guilds, fleets, or squads in other games where once you're in you're always in. Also anyone that is in the posse should always be in it.

Well then Rockstar cannot nickel and dime you by taking money away for running a posse if they can stay in while offline. How will they downright steal money from your account if they cannot charge you while you are offline?

A posse is basically Red Dead Online's version of an organization, or biker gang in Gta Online. It exists so long as the leader is online and the leader loses large increments of money every in-game day that passes.

How much money is taken per day when leading a persistent posse?

I have not started one myself, but I been reading it takes a good chunk of your money away every in-game day that passes, just like organizations and biker gangs.

I haven't seen any funds deducted for it. I paid then$200 and as far as I know that's the only cost. I see the daily stable and camp fees, but nothing for the posse.

You are right, no extra costs for the posse.

Yes the 200$ to form a posse is a one time payment. You just pay for camp and stable like normally.
