Have you taken the issue to R* Support already?

Particularly with the 999 days, the case looks pretty clear.

They can be a bit slow on the uptake, and especially the first tier likes to throw inefficient templates as answers, so be prepared to - patiently - explain the issue a second time, but then often they actually work on your problem.
