Created an alt and im playing with a dude now, bought different items and clothes to have a different style to my main one, its fun grinding for stuff, gives me something to do. Only downside is that i have to change account and add again the few friends that play RDO, would be much more convenient to just have a second slot. 3 months have passed and i made 3 extra characters in addition to my main one. Two are over rank 50 (68 and 56) while my newest guy its 29... Either i spent too much time playing this or leveling up its easier than ever... Welcome to the club, I've got so many the hardest decision is which ones to play. It does make a dull game more fun if you approach the game differently with each one. But the more characters you get, the harder it is to level em, cuz your time is so spread out among all the characters and there's only so much time, especially if you play other games and still have a life lol. But my sole objective is just to have fun, not to rank up, and it's great to put on a different face, with a totally different persona, every time I play. Tbh i play with everyone kinda the same lol, they are all honorable and do whatever i feel with them (hunting, dishonorable FR missions, etc) it was more of a fashion thing to try different characters. 15 minutes ago, Assblaster said: ...But the more characters you get, the harder it is to level em, cuz your time is so spread out among all the characters and there's only so much time, especially if you play other games and still have a life lol. I find ranking up its easy tbh, daily challenges are basically free XP and i replay missions several times a day... doing the buckle challenges helps too. When i dont feel like playing, i just idle in showdowns and just make as much XP and money as if i was actually playing lol Making decent money in tandem its trickier, luckily i always went hunting with a friend in the middle of missions. I know it sounds like i have a lot of free time to play this game, but trust me i dont- its easy peasy to rank up twice in a day. Ronzilla.
Yes please. My character is around lvl 150. I have all the guns, gold, money, outfits, clothing, pamphlets, horses, and ability cards (upgraded) I need. I've stopped playing regularly due to lack of new content. I would like to make a female 2nd character and buy some of the clothing and have fun leveling and earning ability upgrades again.

It's hard for me to rank up because I'm trying to juggle about a dozen characters, but I don't care it's fun. For me the character creation process is tons of fun but I can't make anymore, no way lol. I've gotten to the point of making things more challenging in different ways. If my character dies (except in story missions of course), I force him to go without his horse till he finds a town (and I don't use the minimap). With some characters I only use a certain gun, because that's their favored weapon. Various other house rules too, just to make it all more interesting. Otherwise I'd get bored quick, especially having done everything a gazillion damn times. 24 minutes ago, Tormes said: Do you have to pay ps plus in every account? Same with the cards. Its also boring to play with my main character because shes already set up, theres nothing left to do with her. Having a goal, an objective with my other avatars gives me something to do in the game, which keeps me occupied and playing the game. Options included... - Lawmen. - Native American. - US Marshal. - Army. - Rustler. The list goes on and on. Now, we are restricted to a single created character. I created a Native American character (currently rank 17), but if I ever want to play another role other then an Native American, I would need to delete my character. Id lose all progression and start back at rank 1. (boooo lol). I don’t know if I’m alone in this, but I would really appreciate the option to create a second character like in GTA Online. Anyone else? Dude. Make a new Xbox or PSN account. Lol. this post is old as balls. Oops. Edited September 1, 2019 by The Notorious

Leftover Pizza
While my initial answer to this post was a "no", I do think that in the current situation, it might be a nice idea to have a second character slot for an alt, sharing the monetaries, of course. Only for the simple reason of having something to do. Assblaster

primethief147
It seems so obvious to have at least two character slots so you can have a high honor character and a high dishonor character. Personally I main a high honor character but all my mates are high dishonor so man it would be convenient for me to have a second character slot for a dishonor character for when i play with them. To be honest im surprised at how many people are aganist/ dont care for more character slots. Edited September 2, 2019 by primethief147
XxJazzy42xX
At this point I would say yes now for the why: I know they will get us a 2nd chance at out current characters, but we don't know if it will allow us to edit the current character or if they will only let us try again from scratch(a character appearance reset not a stat, level or inventory reset.). Scenario 1: If it totally resets the appearance then I would want a second character slot, because my character looks fine and I would only tweak a few things and don't need a total reset. If they only allow a reset and not the ability to edit the current then I will leave my character as is while hoping for a slot 2. Scenario 2: If it allows us to edit current appearance then thats fine and I would only want a second slot for when I get bored of my main character, second source of income, opposite honor level, etc. Even though I would want a 2nd slot....its not at the top of my personal wishlist for RDRO.
