Slaytor_00_
Has anyone else run into these issues while playing RDR2? I have formed a persistent possey and anytime i set up a camp for my group, if i quit the game and come back, it says "Cripps has packed up and moved your camp." If i do a story mission, same thing happens. Then ill pay the fee to move the camp to say scarlett meadows, and then it ll put it way down by Tumbleweed. Just frustrating that camp keeps moving frequently and without me wanting it to constantly. Especially since i get disconnected alot and then camp constantly keeps moving. I would appreciate it if others are having similar issues or if this is some kinda bug??
traksta1
Yes I have. You are not alone. The only consistency I see from one moment to the next in where my camp will end up being randomly moved to is that it will inevitably be 1 million miles away from where the game spawns me rather than a nice logical "spawn at camp". Bakkerbaard
Yesterday I decided to suck it up go the distance just to sit down in camp and look at the catalogue without getting shot. Lo and behold, I'm 50 feet from my camp and Cripps packs it up. I've already mailed in to Rockstar about this, might be good to get more requests to stop that sent in. I wouldn't mind the camp moving around if I didn't have to pay money to move it back. The way it is now it feels like a cheap trick to get the money flowing. I'd be fine with paying for it if it only moved when I told it to move. Mind you, this is not an excuse to bitch and moan about how "Cockstar wats to milk us dry, boo" because ofcourse they do and that's how you make money, it just shouldn't feel phone-game cheap. Bad Azz
The camp thingy has to be one of the most ridiculous idea implemented into online. There should be separate camps for posses and lone players. By that, I mean it would be cool if we could actually purchase the small camp from singleplayer that we can place anywhere. First, you arrive within the Red Dead world homeless. You roam in the wilderness until you can buy yourself a camp. Let's say 50$. A few story missions for about 2-3 hours of gameplay and you're already set up. Then you have your little camp, and if you want to create a posse and buy a bigger camp that you could still place wherever you want, modify and updgrade to your own tastes and gameplay requirements. The camp modification as it right now is a complete joke. Furthermore, Cripps is simply a bad and dull character. And he's annoying as f*ck when I'm riding to a mission marker or a nearby town and somehow he manages to move around my camp every 30 seconds and obviously the farthest away from where I am. It's simply a bad feature, badly implemented as well. And to me personally, that's kind of gamebreaking, because having my own little spot for me and my posse is actually important to me. Why is it so hard to have a little freedom in this game? Edited December 1, 2018 by Bad Azz
LordLoff
No bug, this is ridiculous cause the point of having a Camp is preciselky to put it where you need it, a moving camp is not even something you can call a Camp, lol You should also be able to spawn on it, OBVIOUSLY, but that would kill the next way Robbstar will make you wanna spend real money Robbstar will launch properties where you can spawn and they will not be gentle on it, it will be the main bait and cost around 10.000$ or close to it If players could choose their camp site permanently and spawn there, future properties would not be too much needed All Robbstar options are well thought and ONLY MONEY RULES Edited December 9, 2018 by LordLoff Spelling errors
SaturdayNight
I think its supposed to move because either its not your camp, or it moves constantly to remain undetected by law, thats my guess.
