Radiostations?

It sounds stupid but you ride a lot in this game and it would be nice to listen to some music. You can use spotify but an ingame radio would be much cooler. If you dont want it because of immersion simply dont use it.

When on a horse I think you turn the left ear to the previous radio station and the right ear for the next. “Saint Denis Blues” is beautiful.

I wouldn't mind if I woke up tomorrow and I could play K-DUST & K-ROSE on my horse.

I dont want gtav like radiostations, just the music thats already in the game(plus some more perhaps). Sometimes its completely silent if you go hunting for example.

This game takes place before single player, so at the latest 1898/early 1899.
1906 seen the first radio broadcast and it was an hour long mixture of talk and music for technical observers and any radio amateurs.
1908 was when the first regular scheduled broadcast happened and was for a small local audience of amateur radio operators.

1917 seen the shut down of most broadcast due to WWI.
1919 is when one of the world’s first scheduled radio broadcast services began, which broadcasted out of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

1920 seen the first commercially licensed broadcast radio station in the USA.

On Xbox and PlayStation there are multiple methods to listening to music not provided by the game. If you don't like the lack of music in game, use one of these.

Here is a list of the top 32 songs of 1898 to get you started:

Interesting, but we still got a soundtrack already, outside of missions its really quiet sometimes though.

The ambient music that plays is all I need tbh. It immerses me in the game and fits where ever I am riding to. Old time radio stations would feel a bit out of place.

Hmmm nice bike

They'll be adding a mumble rap station soon for the first RDR Online update.

Ok fair enough not full on radio stations but they could put more music (a-la Arthur's ride to camp late in game) mixed in with the ambient music...so a radio station in the loosest sense of the word id a good idea

That’s awesome. I just saw this a few days ago.

And I’d rather have spinners for my wagon than a radio. Just sayin

I gave thumbs up for the pure smart-assness of it.

Virtual-Antics

I'd like to see a gramophone/record player at our camp like Dutch had in story mode. We'd have to wind it up if we wanted to use it. It'd be cool if we had a pre-existing vinyl collection. Or... We could buy new songs at the store and trade in old vinyl.
