AZAZEL Posted April 8, 2003 Share Posted April 8, 2003 I'm replaying Vice, and stumbled across several somwhat wierd glitches and discoveries. Happenings at Prawn Island bridge (East side) - I was running across the bridge leading to Prawn Island, when I saw a cop walking peacefully on the sidewalk. I ran up to him, and when I was about to punch him, he sprinted out in the middle of the street. After being ran over several times, he finaly got on his feet, and then started shooting straight into the road. What the heck? He looked like a retard maniac, gone crazy about the quality of the tarmac (heh, as if). I realized that there was some criminals on the road under the brigde, but the cop seemed to think that they were IN the bridge. Poor bastard. He was finaly put out of his misery, when a car braked in the last second, causing him to jump out of the way, and was then hit by a car overtaking the other one. - Later I was in a helicopter collecting some hidden packages, and after collecting the one on the south side of the bridge near the water, I ascended again to get an overview. I noticed that I was very close to a palmtree, and then I saw that the tree was sticking out through the bridge. "Hmm" I thought, and moved away from the palmtree again, causing it to "slide" out of the bridge again. Aha, it was the wind pressure from the helicopter that pushed the palmtree into the bridge. Some pretty soft cement i guess. By the Dirt Track in Downtown - I started out doing the "Test Track" mission, and got a time of 2:07 in the first try. Not bad I'd say. Then I moved on to the "Trial By Dirt" mission, and after hauling my Sanchez through the rugged terrain, I got a time of 1:55. Not bad either. I scrolled through my stats to be certain the the game had registered the records. It had, but it had also overwrighted my 1:55 record for "Trial By Dirt" with the 2:07 record from "Test Track". It's pretty anoying. Everybody probably knew about this before, and I did too, but here it is anyway. Just bitchslap me back to Denmark if it's older than your granddad's dog. That's all folks. When Vice comes out for PC, you'll see pics of all this. Oh, and you'd better hurry up posting here if you wanna. Cerb has trashed 10-12 topics like this today. Chill out I'd say. What are you talking about? Have you read the topic? I've explained exactly how every glitch happened, and what caused it. It's not a quiz you know.
