Gallows
Hunting is great. Perhaps people who struggle have bad honour. Stop being disruptive in free roam if you want to earn more money. There are consequences to your actions.
Chrismads
Fishing? Anyone had a nice profit from that? Is the rod worth the 34 $?

Not getting into it right now, because I’m getting the persistent posse today. But will check it out ASAP. If it works as well as hunting for earning money, it will be awesome. Callahan44
Serious question: what do you grind for? I got a good horse for free,im fine with my rifle. The camp upgrades are way too expensive for cosmetic item. Most clothes are levellocked anyway. In (vanilla)gta online i wanted a good car,a heli,an airplane,a good motorbike... xGeoThumbs
Fishing steelhead trouts at Catfish Jacksons. You get good money and health experience. I bought a fishing rod and 20 worms for a total of $44 Every steelhead trout is worth $4,25 at the butcher. Note that you can only hold 10 fish of a kind in your inventory (I had to throw the 11th trout back into the river). I came back with 10 steelhead trouts and a bunch of other fish, and already earned back what I spent 20 minutes earlier. Stormingz
I’ve been hunting three star bucks and pronghorns near Valentine, so it’s a quick journey back to the butcher, and the open fields nearby always spawn deer etc. You get around ten bucks per kill, if you sell the pelt, meat and carcass. Money per hour can vary on how lucky you are and how quickly you come across a three star animal, I’ve had ups and downs with this method, but until I get that fishing rod, it’s my go to method. Ammo, consumables and eventually expanding my wardrobe. I also want a real race horse. I have the Ultimate edition one, but the foxtrotter is a better race horse. Lots of things I want, even the camp upgrades because it’s not only cosmetic. It adds bonuses as well (dome of them at least). There are things I want to buy for a long time and ammo/consumables makes the need for money constant. But wouldn’t call it grinding. I just play and I like hunting. When hunting all animals are good. I Hunt everything and return to the butcher every time I have a three Star animal on my horse, plus two smaller carcasses or birds. But usually get 5-10 pelts on top of that, plus small game animals and pelts. Edited December 1, 2018 by Gallows Chrismads
Lonely-Martin
Aside early missions and treasure if course, hunting is a synch even if you just blast and skin. I'm just popping anything really. Ideally only skins and bits to sell while filling up on food. Cannot wait to fish though if I can find a quiet spot, like hunting, I'll fill up on small stuff that goes on the satchel. xGeoThumbs
BTW can you move fish from your satchel to your horse inventory? That would be very handy for fishing.

I'm grinding for guns. I have my Lancaster, now all I need is a bolt action and a double-action revolver. Then I want an Andalusian because the UE thoroughbred is a skittish temperamental sh*t. Then... dapper clothes so my butt ugly toon will look like the yellow toothed bell in a cracked and faded ball.

Just much more stuff in general. Also some interesting stuff like hot air ballon. I hoped to see everything from singleplayer plus a lot more...so far we got much less. And most of it is locked until you reach a certain rank. I know its a beta, but for me its disappointing in every single aspect.
Pressure Drop
Best way for me is pressing left on dpad and quick joining a story mission. Guaranteed 10 dollars payout usually, along with anything extra you can manage to loot. PVE contact missions were my favourite thing about GTA Online even after 5 years. I would love to see more of these "contact missions" in the future, and a better way of hosting them, like the list we had to choose in GTA. And obviously a contact mission creator, which was in gta5 but restricted to devs. BTW does anyone know if the honor choices actually matter in the missions? Or do you only lose the little chunk from your bar, and that's it? If your choices actually matter more than that then I will probably want to wait and do them with friends only to ensure I get the choices I want. It may not pay quite as much as hunting, but I enjoy the missions and I'm not high enough level yet to get a varmint rifle and the other guns I would need to go hunting. I hear the treasure maps pay out a lot too, and you get them every 5 levels. Edited December 1, 2018 by Pressure Drop
