·MQ·
I've been trying for the better part of 2 hours to tame a wild horse but I just can't seem to get the mechanic to work properly. In the story mode you just hold down left thumbstick and lean it left or right to avoid falling off. In online it's like it's not registering my movements. Every horse is almost immediately booting me off to the left side, even though I'm leaning my thumbstick completely to the right for counterbalance! I thought maybe it was my controller so I switched controllers but it's still doing the exact same thing. Anyone else having this issue?

NastySix
I've tamed horses...just keep pressing the "calm" Button. Lasso it "calm" it and when slowly walking towards it keep calming it till you are close enough to jump on. When on it keep looking for the "calm" Option to Popup.. roggek
There is no use at the moment to tame wild horses in RDR online, since you can't neither stable or sell wild horses at a stable. And Clive has no marker on the map, what I'm aware of... So it's right now a waste of time... LeftTurnus
You can tame the wild horses. But as indicated earlier, you can't bond with them, stable them, or sell them. Their only use currently is if for whatever reason your main horse is not around and you need to get somewhere.
