Even when it's only for cosmetics, doesn't matter. You still have to play a game with a progression and unlock system, that was designed to make the game so grindy (aka less fun), that people will cave in and spend real money for items. "Oh, no you can't play poker in our game. Our currency is bought with real world money, so you'd be basically trying to make real money. And only we can do that off of gamers." Even Warframe, a F2P game with a billion items to buy/unlock, is ten times less of a grind than this and many other $60 titles. I think RDO even has a chance to steal the grinder trophy from Fortnite. Probably my last gen gaming. Been doing it since the 2600 days. Only new ideas devs have today, are about how to increase resolution, and how to make more MTX money. Just not as fun for me these days. And even less fun when you noticed how almost every game is pushing some BS divide and conquer agenda. So far rd online feels like gta without planes and cars,instead of grinding for a supercar you grind for a hat. Gta had good prices at least for a few months,this one offers me goldbars every time already. I doubt rd2 will be a huge succes if it stays like this. But probably im wrong... If you don’t pay $200 your posse is only temporary it is gone when you leave the session and none of your stats are saved and you don’t get the full range of settings. Missions that are paying $1 will pay 50 cents. Missions paying 50 cents will pay 25 cents. Looting for 25 cents will be 10 cents. And so on. Enjoy the current payouts. They will nerf it.
