I would not need to buy a GoldBar or glitch, because I wouldn't be so focused on my bank account/earning potential. The natural gameplay would keep me content that I would not have to worry about such things. The player would find this situation ideal, but the company might lose out on potential revenue and thus feel that the game is "under-monetized". This leads to the balance of the economy - something only Rockstar has power over - shifting in such a way that inspires the purchase of microtransactions, i.e. low payouts and high prices. Low-payouts and high prices would eventually make my bank account and earning potential less of a unconscious thread and more of a pressing, constant focus of my attention. This is how they make the sale. I do not wish to restructure my gameplay along profitability or willingly miss-out on the full features of the game. If my enjoyment of the game is compromised to the point where it feels like a grind or a job - forcing myself to go through the motions - instead of having fun and being free to do what I want or that I'm "wasting" my time doing activities that don't pay well, then clearly something's out of sync. Rather than solve that problem with a shark card or stay the course by suffering through the tedium of the grind, I'd rather glitch and call it a day. It's about balance, not instant gratification. Raise the payouts, lower the prices and then we won't need to have this conversation. Money is a factor because Rockstar makes it a factor. This is the best post about this issue...... so on point . Its either that ,or just will make me want to play the game less when i can play other games that dont do this . I just don’t agree it’s a grind. This is the second day and I have 75% of the money I need for the first gun. Seems fine to med. Gold bars take a long time and have no idea why insurance is paid by gold bars. It’s a one time thing for a horse, but still. The ingame $ have a nice harsh balance. Why would they. A haircut is $40 f*cking dollars. They obviously want you buying their money instead of grinding. I want to play the damn game. I generally love messing with my friends & other people in freeroam using what environment offers. guns, vehicles and other stuff. I hate when cars & weapons are hidden behind a pay wall. It feels like you have to "unlock" the real game by grinding endlessly or spending your hard earned money on microtransactions. I usually play missions & heists for 2-3 times and then I am bored, why should I waste my time with them when their payout is so little? I definitely go with money glitches. I don't want to spend my money to buy a virtual horse. You are a bad person when you use money glitches but everything okay when you let game studios to happily milk your wallet. Screw that.
