It's only been out a day, I will need more time to play it to decide if payouts are good or not. If I decide that I think they are ridiculous, as in GTA Online, then I will absolutely take every advantage I can. If it's a fair system I will be happy not to, but more time is needed with the game yet IMO

Im going to respond to your post, usually I dont respond to people who throw disrespect my way, because Im more of a "In your Face kind of guy" Meaning when Some disrespects me and I can reach out and touch them "I Usually put hands and feet on them" But I understand this is how you YOUNG PEOPLE, talk to each other on social media and the rest of the Internet, because there is no consequences over the Internet.

 

Now to answer your question... Im a grown ass man "Who Owns Property In Real Life" so if I truly want something that I dont have in the game, and I dont want to grind for it. I can always pay for it with my "Hard Earned Money" Remember Im not a child. I have over 8 Billion dollars on GTA Online, and not once did I ever glitch the game. When I wanted a business and I didnt have the money, I used my debit card or my paypal. Now I prefer to try to grind first and get what I want, but If It takes to long, or being that Im a grown man, who works 12 hours a day Monday thru Friday, I'll pull out my debit card or credit card and pay for what I need.  Lastly please stop calling people "FanBoys" who dont agree with you, not all of us  cater to these companies. Im about having fun on these games, nothing less and nothing more. Im done with this topic, Im not going back and forth with anyone over my personal opinion. You do what you think is best for you, and I'll do what I think is best for me. Enjoy the rest of your day.

As long as payouts continue to be weak and prices remain high relative to the amount of time spent generating income, then I will seek to offset this imbalance via "alternative sources". Rockstar would prefer that alternative source be in-game-cash purchased directly through the company. But I'd rather not waste my money just to avoid wasting my time. The in-game economy can theoretically be balanced to the point where the game isn't a grind and Rockstar still meets their revenue quotas, but based on where things stand now there seems to be an imbalance that unfairly benefits corporate. It is literally in their best interest to make it this way. Thus putting more pressure on the player to "do what they have to do".

If payouts are fair for the time invested and prices are reasonable and justified, then I'd make the amount I need naturally through normal, casual gameplay. Such as:

• Picking activities based on gameplay value (how fun they are) instead of the reward (how much they pay)
• Not limiting myself to only doing the profitable jobs 
• Indulging in activities that do not pay well 
• Logging on and doing what I want, when I want without worrying about my in-game bank account

However, this may not lead to a microtransaction. I would not need to buy a GoldBar or glitch, because I wouldn't be so focused on my bank account/earning potential. The natural gameplay would keep me content that I would not have to worry about such things. The player would find this situation ideal, but the company might lose out on potential revenue and thus feel that the game is "under-monetized". This leads to the balance of the economy - something only Rockstar has power over - shifting in such a way that inspires the purchase of microtransactions, i.e. low payouts and high prices. Low-payouts and high prices would eventually make my bank account and earning potential less of a unconscious thread and more of a pressing, constant focus of my attention. This is how they make the sale. 

 

I do not wish to restructure my gameplay along profitability or willingly miss-out on the full features of the game. If my enjoyment of the game is compromised to the point where it feels like a grind or a job - forcing myself to go through the motions - instead of having fun and being free to do what I want or that I'm "wasting" my time doing activities that don't pay well, then clearly something's out of sync. Rather than solve that problem with a shark card or stay the course by suffering through the tedium of the grind, I'd rather glitch and call it a day. It's about balance, not instant gratification.

 

Raise the payouts, lower the prices and then we won't need to have this conversation.

Money is a factor because Rockstar makes it a factor.

Not a single person asked about your life story m8... I bet its fascinating but how is that related in any way to my question? I just asked how will you know that someone cheated in game, not how old are you or what you do or even are you have enough money to pay for microtransactions (but even a kid who works at Mcdonalds could so I don't know why you think thats impressive). If you need a place just to brag about yourself then thats not the place buddy.

Don’t generalize age. As you can tell by my name, I’m no child. I’ll glitch if I damn well please. You didn’t buy my game for me. I’m not changing the game mechanics. I’m simply taking advantage of the game the way it is, unaltered. Deal with it.

We'll see how it goes but I'm pretty much always against cheating. Even in GTAO billionaire days I didn't use too much of the money I received. Good thing because a lot of people faced the ban hammer don't know if it's worth the risk.

Not confused. Glitching is a word used by cheaters to represent minor cheats often achieved by exploiting weaknesses in the game code. It’s still the same though. Cheating. Someone glitching outside the map in cod is a cheater. Just because you can do something through a weakness in the game code does not mean it’s not cheating. Using sniffer, injection, VPN and proxies, to gain an advantage is simply using a weakness in the net code. All cheats are exploiting a weakness in the game code.

If a triple A game company can’t make a game without weaknesses, it should be exploited. This is a multi billion dollar company, who’s worked on a product for 8 years, if they didn’t focus their time on how to charge people for gold bars and left a weakness so be it. Glitching isn’t close to cheating. I don’t alter the code. I don’t hack the game. But if I find a treasure chest that gives me a gold bar every 5 minutes, don’t blame me for using it.
