I already anticipated how the online was going to be, I bought the game for the single player story, as I had been since Gta Vice City. I only poked my head through the door to see if my expectations were correct, and they most certainly were. My time with online can be summed up as this. GTAO became a lot more fun when I glitched $10M back in the early days (2013), never had to worry about ammo. Dynamites and fire bottles would be useful to defend against griefers who come in posses, and the mission payouts aren't nearly enough to pay for it. No, because just like GTA:O there is no reason that I need to own every single item in the game. That, and I plan on actually playing the game and all the content it offers instead of running around in freemode killing people like this is one big western themed CoD match. Long as it gives you a sense of accomplishment, it's all good. Hope you enjoy the content R* adds in the coming months. I for one know from experience that I will regret if I don't glitch a few hundred thousand because R* probably will introduce business ownership and CEO type stuff that require regular financial maintenance. My glitched $10 million in GTA Online certainly gave me a good head start and I could not even imagine getting into that CEO thing without all that cash at hand. To each their own I guess. No one wants or expects to own everything in the game, that is a strawman. What we want is to be able to own the essentials, those mainly being certain vehicles and weapons so that you are not at a disadvantage. Insurgents for explosive spam, weaponized tampa for mission grinding, and so on. Basically weaponized vehicles for the most part, where if you do not own yourself it puts you at an automatic disadvantage against those who have them at their finger tips. DarksunDaFirst
Absolutely yes. The fact that Rockstar truly doesn't care how they've made their online games into a P2W model and an absolute horrendous grind-fest makes me want to find all money glitches and just absolutely run with them. When all the crazy OP vehicles started coming out in GTAO is what killed it for me. Hatin Since 87

I don't wanna have everything unlocked and accessible at start. I want to feel rewarded for my work in the game as I progress in it but that doesn't mean that I have to play an entire week just to get one gun. And to answer your other question it takes roughly 36-48 hours ($9,343,500) to get an Office, I/E warehouse, a fully upgraded bunker, a Cargobob, and a Buzzard. Once you have that it's $1M every 3-4 hours (more with good bonuses). I have spread-sheet'd the f*ck out of this game. I know the numbers in and out. There isn't an argument you can make that will convince me cheating is okay, or needed in GTA:O I didn't mention anything about cheating, my post was about giving more balance to the play time > progress > reward equation (which even reduce cheating as people wouldn't need to do it). Just quickly grabbing your numbers 48 hours for someone who plays let's say 2h per day, 5 days per week means more almost one month + almost 2 weeks playing / grinding exclusively to get something to make real money. And we're not even considering things going bad like griefers detroyng deliveries the need of help to do some jobs etc.. Not everyone has the time / availability / mood to grind, rinse and repeat the same task over and over, people have different priorities in life. Some take this game too seriously others just want to chill. I'm not even talking for myself as I've spent too much time playing GTAO (159d 1h 34m 13s according to the stats :O) done / have pretty much everything in this game, I know what it costs (time wise) to fill a large cargo warehouse for example specially if you're playing solo, it's insane. Anyway, the subject here is RDO and if many people think GTAO was too much of a grind, R* did it even worse. That's what we're discussing and you can't argue that, which will eventually lead to more players cheating. kenmy13999 and Lonely-Martin
Sam Doe
Hi everyone, I've been reading this forum for a long time now. I just created this account because I noticed something weird, maybe lets even say 'glitchy' In fact, if you press start then head to player> general stats > vital stats > Total dollars earned There, you will realize that the amount of money the game says you have earned is not the same as what you really had. At least for me. The game says 71 974.00 $ but I know for sure I am far from that. Did anyone noticed that? Is it the same for everybody? Piro
Found this on reddit and its just hilarious Quote >12 Gold Bars to make your starter pistol all black. this is the problem Can you imagine if they made gold bars the same size and weight as real gold bars? You'll have to walk into the gunshop with a damn wheel barrow with gold bars and stack them onto the desk. The gunshop owner would immediately retire, of course, but you'd have a black gun. And people still wonder why everyone suddenly wants to glitch in this game, even people who never did that before. I'm glad that I have to wait for PC version. By the time its out I will probably just download a mod that unlocks all online dlcs in singleplayer. HUGO STiGLiTZ
Not only is it a little entertaining to see this forum go from people discussing the immorality of using glitches to everyone trying to find out and anticipating the next one that will give us the most Bang for our buck. I myself am sick of this damn grind and am waiting for one to come out to release a fair bit of cash as opposed to trying to run around between 1 of the 3 jewelry spawning locations and being clubbed to death by 4 other jackasses wanting to do the same. I'd give it at least a few weeks before a half decent one comes out. I assume that's part of the reason rock star released their multiplayer as a Beta. It covers 2 major things, one being erraticating glitches as fast as they are released, and allowing them to take as slow of a sh*t as possible to release their heist stuff so you don't get the back lashing rage that you had with GTA online. Speaking of obscenely slow ways to gather money, does anyone by chance remember the stock market system grand theft auto 5 was supposedly going to employ both in single player and online? Thinking back on it, it's extremely disappointing to see how starting with that system they went from caring about giving players enough money to have fun on their game to immediately revoking it and trying to make you pay for in game currency. These guys make such terrific single player campaigns, yet they can't seem to pull their greedy heads out of their equally greedy asses to save their souls.
